What would you do if you got bit?
Lets say you got into a big brawl with a gang of zombies and your survival friends. You guys win the fight but you see that you got bit and covered it up right away. Would you tell your group? Would you kill yourself somewhere away from the group? Would you want to turn and seize your group?

Well, the biggest problem is what type of zombie are you fighting.
If it is the zombie which pretty much everyone here believes in, you might as well admit that you got bit, and end your life after getting your last good-byes.
If it is classic hollywood zombie (aka. literally the living dead via black magic), you probably won't have as much problems, excepting for the wound getting infected. You might as well tell them, to allow for proper medical treatment.

I would tell my group, if time and the tactical situation permitted I would want to be watched until I was about to turn then shot in the head to avoid the pain of the transition.

Hit the Main streets and RAMPAGE! killing as many Zed's as posible before i am dragged to my death or succome to the infection.

I'd give my final goodbyes and asked to be killed.
Either that or try to take down as many as I could and then kill myself before the transition (assuming it is possible to be aware of when that happens and then kill yourself).

the "right" thing:: allow myself to be wired with explosives by my party members. tell them to wait for me to turn, and then lower me into the horde. they won't attack a fellow zombie. my members should let me wander around to the most advantageous spot AWAY from the building... and then BAM. maximum effect.
the "wrong" thing:: i'm biting everyone in my group, even before i turn. fuckers shoulda watched my back better. heh
