First question to ask is: What tools are at my disposal? Any bit of anything could be used to your advantage here, whether it be weapon-in-hand or just debris on the ground that you can use to distract, deter, or bludgeon. However, since the popular way to go here seems like it's an unarmed situation, true strategy will need to be implemented.

As I said, if there's a will, there's a way. Of course, martial arts background helps too. The first and most important thing is to get your footing. You won't be able to do much without your balance. Then you need to take the whole picture into consideration. You have no weapons. What about the ones in front of you? Use the closest zombie as a means of blocking and/or pushing the others back. For example, take a look at the guy on the left here. He looks like he's getting awfully close. And he is just presenting his hand to you. Grab hold of that and throw him over you into the zombies behind you. Then use that as an opportunity to break through that now weakened section of zombies.

As noted above, you're already dead. Look at the spray of blood coming from your torso, that amount implies a major artery or vein. Just hope you don't bleed out before you can put a bullet in your brain.

It's not necessarily blood from your torso. It could be blood from any number of sources; the exact setup for the situation is established.

It is very probably that if it were a wound to the torso and bleeding that heavily... you would not make it. But you can't give up, no matter the circumstances.

and i dont know about Footballing my way through, drop your shoulder and bum rush, praying someone doesn't bite you on the way in

Judo has some very effective throws, when we talk about Martial Arts, Aikido too

Chances are there are more behind this group, so i have to agree with most people here that you are going to die. So take out as many as possible and then yourself. I mean kill a zombie save a life right?

well like someone just said, i'm way to smart to end up like this.

if my lucked failed me and I'm in this postion, i would just punch back, throw hands off, knock teeth out, anything that'll keep their rotten maws off me!

if all else fails, pull the pin on a nade and hold the clip, "eat martyrdom." and wait till my grip loosens and both me and them get gibbed by the blast.
