WHAT WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO SEE IN A NEW ZOMBIE MOVIE?
I'm of the belief that for a Zombie movie to be truly great it has to somehow add to the genre. For instance: Night of the Living Dead first introduced the idea that you must destroy the brain/head to kill a Zombie. What would you most like to see in a new Zombie movie?

Well, seeing as George A Romero is filming a new "... of the Dead" movie at the moment; I'd really like to see some sprinting zombies out of it. You see, I'm absolutely terrified of the idea of sprinters. Very much on a psychological level. But anyway, I'd love to see anything that he may have to offer, whether it be sprinters or shamblers; because after all, it IS George "The King of Zombies" Romero we're talking about.

It's been generally named, literally "____ of the Dead", filming in Vancouver I believe...google "Unnamed George Romero Project"...

kudos on referring to Romero and i agree that a higher threat zombie should be introduced such as, as you metioned a sprinter, i would like to see something similar to a tank (zombie in Left for dead)

I loved L4D, but really wouldn't want to see a tank. Maybe a smoker, but not a tank; it seems a litte over-the-top.

To answer my own question: I'd like to see the biology of Zombies explained - and have that add to the plot. How long does it take them to decay? How do they make noise if they don't breathe? Are they fast, slow, or both? And if so, why? I also think that we don't need to have people in Zombie movies have no idea what's going on anymore. Every new Zombie movie the characters need to rediscover Zombies. Like they've never seen a single movie. Like they have no idea what a Zombie is. Enough of that, I say.

i agree. Every new zombie movie coming out has people not knowing what a ZOMBIE is at all?! no wonder humanity is losing the battle- uneducated. i'd love to see an opening to a zombie movie where a group of grammer school kids are being taught about zombies and how to protect yourself. you know, "just in case". like am earthquake or fire drill, but with zombies being the threat. i also love when little kids are added to the zombie community. there's nothing scarier to me than the idea of being attacked by a 6-year-old zombie.

To your first point about grammer school: I think they did something like that in Fido, even though it's a comedy.
What about a movie with ONLY kid zombies. The virus doesn't infect people who have gone through puberty, so adults just die and don't come back to life, but kids turn into zombies. It could be like a child flu - kids get sick, die, come back to life and eat their parents.
