What would you pack when an outbreak arrives?
I'm curious what you guys and girls would pack if the dead will rise again.
I'll think that I will pack the following:
- canned food,
- water,
- ammo,
- melee weapon,
- GPS-system,
- world-radio,
- first-aid kit,
- photo from my family,
- medication,
- swiss army knife,
- cigarettes.
Maybe more will pop into my mind. But I think this will be the basic backpack for me.

Fuck canned food. All you need are dried meals. Cans are loud and heavy, and mostly filler.

I agree, swap the canned food for dry food. I'm not up to speed on GPS but I don't know if the system will work once the power fails. A water filter would be handy, and at least 2 ways of making fire other than your lighter. A torch/flashlight will be handy.Some spare clothes is also a good idea
If you have cigarettes you will be welcome in my camp :)
I have a bag packed and ready to go, the contents are pretty comprehensive and I know from tests that I can live for 3 days in any weather I'm likely to experience in my area just on what is in the bag. I could stretch it to 4 or 5 no problem and with some scrounging/hunting I could go on and on.

I assume that the GPS satelites will keep sending signals to recievers.
Maybe also an idea to pack some extra batteries for the flashlight then?
Guess I'll need matches too and some firestones besides my lighter.
Good to know that I am welcome in your camp with cigarettes. Before I'll come to you, I will raid a store. Enough to go around then.

actually that isn't a bad idea, those satelites are made to keep going without human assistance for a long time, they would come down eventually but might as well use them while you can.

gun ammo fire making stuff melee weapon water filter water water purification tablets and a sidearm along with my big knife a few multitools and such

Tactical Assault Gear 3 day Assault pack
-underwear, t-shirts, and a ton of socks
-Area and state maps and a compass
-2x Nalgene bottles and a purifier pump
-MREs
-Type 56 and 210 rounds(if I need more I will probably be dead and I have stock piles and friends houses)
-Berreta M9A1 75 rounds
-crowbar, machete, tactical knife, fubar, and duct tape
