Could you post a synopsis for your script, i`d love to read it.Anyhow for my thoughts of a movie somehow New World Order or NWO comes to mind.

Basically it would be  how Illuminati/Masonry or related factions engineered the virus, but their plans faulted  and caused a uncontrollable strain instead( Zombiefication) Which obviously ultimately would clean the world, even of its makers.

I envision a widely populated third world country as the stage for the onslaught, although a set made to look like the areas intended would have been made if scenery could not been acquired.

there is something about foreign language d, Zombie movies which add to the mystery, now add stereotypes and shady characters as zombies and you got a decent Zombie horror flick going.

 

- Sidenote, The setting of D9  would be quite useful and good for a Zombie film,maybe you should polish your  script and send it to the maker of D9.  It being a poor country making a film would be cheap, D9s production cost was very low in par with what they produced, which surprisingly was a very compelling movie.

OK basic: Big pharmaceutical tests in dilapidated 5th and 3rd world countries without a lot of restraints. We have never until now, witnessed what the combined long term, generational effects of HIV, TB and Polio vaccinations have had on the masses. Whos to say Bi Pharmasutical is not responsilbe for the viruses they cacinated for and charge billions for? So then bingo bango, mutant strain, Zombies! African zombies are much faster than your normal zombie, and much more hungry too. They can climb and jump, and they have absolutely no sense of self preservation, they will run head long into a train to get at you.

Also being that there is a strong racist atmosphere in Africa left over from the apartheid years never fully healed, there will be gangs, mobs looting through the neighborhoods, one house, one apartment at a time, dragging whites and foreigners, and who ever else the mob seems fit to pull out into the streets, executing them... because THAT'S the real South Africa no one tells you about. In Africa the mob rules. The xenophobia, the pure despise of refugees and other black bordering countries from war weary lands, invading their space, bringing crime and drugs, stealing their jobs . Then the plague hits and all that post apartheid pride crumbles away into total racist anarchy. millions of already hungry Africans begin looting till there's not one scrap of food left. And in the middle of it all the undead begin to become more and more of a problem!  It was only the mere mention of a plague, and that the dead were returning to life, which turned a predominantly superstitious country upside down. American zombie survivalist might run for the hills or flee to islands or mall to live, but Africans don't think that way. Not until a zombie is gnawing on their leg would they put that looted TV down. Indeed, any sign of a failing government would be an open door to let the pillaging begin. In fact, if you don't get in there and get some, there wont be anything to get left. Not to mention, as a predominant black race who has not quite fully recouped from apartheid, South Africa would be plunged into another bloody Rwanda. So i think thats where we would start. But of course there is loads of irony, and in the end the most unlikely of people, including an angry white boar farmer, come together to fight against a common enemy. so you can fill in the blanks, but thats the basic plot.
