They're all over my neighborhood!! I've got to get somewhere.
I have enough gas to go about five miles which gives me four choices. There's a high school close by, a mall, a hospital and a high-rise hotel. No military installations!!!
I've heard you shouldn't go to hospitals, but it's got a helicopter pad on top. I would go to the mall, but I think it's been looted.
Please advise!!
Hurry!!

I guess I should just accept my fate. I'm doomed.
Don't be a negative Nancy.

You always have 2 main options.
1:Easy way out
2:Refuse to die

Pick one and get it done.
Isn't that what zombies do? Refuse to die?
I think maybe I'll try to hold out a little longer. There's a car parked in someones driveway about two houses down from where I am. I'm assuming this means it might have a little gas in it. If I can siphon just a little, I might be able to cruise by the school, see how it looks and if there are a lot of those things around, I can just make it to the Hyatt. Anybody stayed there? Are the beds comfortable?
School.
It depends really on if the zombies have deserted the hospital in search of fresh meat if that is the case Hospital not a terrible Idea the shool would be a better option due to wide hallways so you can avoid anything relativly easy, and you could make makeshift weapons and use desks and such for barricading yourself in. Mall will most likely have been looted so there is little chance for finding suplies of any kind. The highrise would be good too if all the survivors hadn't decicded to go there, and the stairs would serve to slow down the zombies in their endless hunt for flesh.

Hope this Helped.
The High School is only two levels...might make it easier to infiltrate. I like the idea of having desks and lightweight materials for barricades. I'm not all that strong, so it's difficult for me to handle large beams or pieces of furniture, though.
If I go to the high rise, I know I should seek refuge on an upper floor (there are about 20 floors, I think), but what if I then find myself trapped? I wouldn't be able to jump.
Would it be wiser to stay on a lower floor (3rd or 4th) and try to barricade stairwells, or do you think I should try for as high up as I can get hoping Zed won't make it up that high?
The horrible prospect of being trapped is always a possibilty, and no matter how high you climb the Zeds will eventually reach you. If going for the high rise you need to find out if it has a set of emergency stairs that lead to the alley, as for how high you need to make sure there is a relatively easy escape whether it be by jumping or by running down stairs, so i would opt for a lower floor. and definitly barricade the stairs but make it easy for you to either jump over or move in the case your fortress is breached.
