Who can you count on when Z day comes?
As funny as this may sound my entire family has talked about this. We live in Kentucky and everyone has at least one gun that is old enough to hunt and we go camping alot. I have some military training that would com in handy and my dad ande brother in law are both hunters. My mother and sister can both shoot and my kids....well....I can not think of anyone I'd rather have watching my back. Can't tell you how many wargames they have been the last men standing.
We like talking about this subject and have made plans in case it ever happens. Yes the planning is all in fun but it really helps with the movies we are making to try to pretend the what if and then plan what we would really do.
Between all of us we have the skills to survive. I'm not saying it would be all comfy cozy but we would eat and stay warm.

Of Course My family My friends and my friends families. We are all in a group and each of us has a certain skill that could come in handy such as military training, hunting, cooking ect. and our group is about 20+ people so we know at least someone has our backs. we are in VA but we are going to move all across the continent so if anybody wants to join us they are welcome.

Well to be honest I don't either. But when one is eating someone nearby its going to be a little hard not to become a believer. At that point I'd say you won't need a lot of help convincing them.

I'm thinking my family is stuffed, I'm counting on my slightly psychotic knife collecting friend to drive round to my house and pick me and my cache of weapons and supplies up and then were going to drive to the marina. Jump in her families boat and go to one of the islands offshore.

My buddy Mike and I always converse about this topic, as well as many others. If anyone I'm sure i can count on him and his family. Between the two family's we are pretty secure, minus my lovely girlfriend. Whom thinks the concept of "zombies" is cool but thinks stuff like survival and guns are stupid. Currently I am beating it into her head the importance of knowing how to maintain and operate firearms for a number of different reasons. More than any is to stop thugs from hunting her, but that is besides the point. Planning ahead, and preparing for the worst never hurt anything :)
