I have my reasons for loving zombies. its what makes me watch zombie movies than go wandering the streets late at night and watching a drunk person stumbling towards you and wondering what if? It's my love of a great zombie dream that scares me more than any hollywood movie ever can. I wanna know why you love zombies.

Man my dreams are so detailed and vivid its better than any Hollywood produced movie, crazy thing is it keeps getting better the more I discuss and learn about others peoples fears and love for zombies. the last one I had went something like this...

I woke up and went to work at some high-tech genetic research lab. I went to talk to my boss who told me that last night some one broke into one of the labs and stole top secret materials’ and a cadaver. He told me that my all the security cameras and high-tech intrusion sensors were bypassed and that my security code was used to get into the lab. He told me I was fired and that the police will be called to my house to get a sworn statement. So I went home and told my wife that I was fired and under investigation, she told me I was a loser and that she was getting a divorce, she even had me sign the papers right then and there. some time later in the dream I was in a bad drinking and getting loud, telling everybody she’s a BIT@H! just them the heavy set biker dude throws me out in to the ally behind the bar and I continue my rant about her well I see someone getting closer, thinking that they share my view I walk up to them and the zombie bites me. Of all the things I could think about at a time like that was, hey this guy looks familiar where have I see him before? Then it hit me who ever broke into the lab let loose this zombie to cover their tracks. I race home thinking that my wife can save me she’s a researcher at the lab and must know of some way to save me. I make it to my front door when I feel myself slipping further in to darkness, I swear to god I don’t wanna die, I cant die like this. Of course I die as disturbing as that maybe the dream continues. I see myself rise up and start banging on the door my wife opens it and starts yelling at me saying its too late, she doesn’t love me anymore, that she has already moved on. Just then I see my boss come out of the bedroom half dressed telling my wife the deal is done that the money will be in the bank account by the morning. I immediately bite the wife tearing a chunk of flesh out her throat silencing the death curling scream she lets out as she realizes I’m dead. Then charge my boss and I take a chunk out of him as well. Just then several police officer show up and shoot my wife and boss in the head and I see the barrel of a smoking gun pointed at me, just then I wake up.

Only after caos can we be resurrected!!- Tyler durden
Well they are unpredictable in the sense that they can be anywhere humans can be, and we are unpredictable. Once turned though their are sort of like an omnipresent threat that behaves as you would expect. I always like them because of that. You do not have to develop them into more than they are. Some villains steal the show. You cannot empathize with the zombies nor can you blame them. They just are. In the eye of the storm, the story can feel free to work more on the survivors and their humanity is a stark contrast to the zombies. Watch Dawn of the Dead. The zombies are just an afterthought to the way the characters react to them. They also can symbolize all that is wrong with us: greed, consumerism, brutality, prejudice it all comes out.
Your right i have looked into that movie, where the zombies are easily beaten but its the living that fail to act as a collective group and its that same fact that causes them all die. Its only because Ben came out of the basement to early that gets him killed
Have anyone sees I Am Legend 2 (I Am Omega) yet ?
Although the entirely movie are quite poor and average... It has some beautiful moments of desolation shots and scenes too !
The fighting scenes are also hilarious !... Goosebumply Fun !

This topic got started right around the time I joined, and I'm just now getting to it? Ok, here's my perspective:

Humans in general do not take care of themselves. Most do just enough to get by. The reason for we have become complacent is because we are the top of the food chain. We have no reason to work for our survival, it's being spoonfed to us nice and lukewarm so we don't burn ourselves. As a result, the quality of human life, especially in America, is declining greatly. Another factor that disgusts me is how it is nearly impossible for people to get along, even getting down to curvy people hating on skinny people. The amount of hypocrisy in this world is astounding. The same curvy people think it's perfectly ok to call a naturally skinny and healthy person  annorexic, but don't you dare call them fat. People no longer appreciate the simple fact that they are alive. And there is nothing to facilitate that appreciation.

This is where zombies come in.

I personally think this world could use a zombie apocolypse. An apocolypse that forces mankind to either bond together and fight for survival, or die. Call me sadistic if you like, but you cannot deny the concept of natural selection, nor the fact that humans are now exempt from this test. We are allowed to breed without any consideration of the fact that we are killing the planet like the parasites that ravage the brain of a zombie. Maybe I would be one of the people to die. Maybe you would. The point is, I love the idea of zombies because then we would have to earn each and every day of survival. Would it be hard work? Damn right. But hard work makes a person appreciate what they have.

Having the ability to think and manipulate can negate natural selection. It is why we are at the top of the foodchain. God made Man, Sam Colt made us equal. A thin person can get bit as soon as a heavy person. A thinking person whether they are fat or scrawny can devise many ways to avoid being bit. Just like an older person may not have the physical ability that a younger person has but then again they have learned how to work around things.

I can't deny that I wouldn't mind seeing some culling of the herd. Then again, I'd likely be there to protect some that would be culled.

remember at page 3 of this discussion when i said that nobody has tried to make a sparkly love struck emo zombie story that gets turned into a movie so millions of tweens with no knowledge of real life will go see it?...well
