The former was made in 1959, is based on a book of the same name and is about the survivors of a nuclear war awaiting the fallout to reach them in Australia. The CO of the last American Nuclear Sub is sent to San Diego to investigate a morse code signal from an area where there is supossedly no life left. A great atmospheric film...
Five is a small character driven story about possibly the last 5 people left on Earth after an atomic bomb test wipes out the rest of humanity. Made in 1951, it has the distinction of being the first post apocalyptic film to show the after affects of nuclear war.
Both are dated but well acted and very easy to watch. Check 'em out...

children of men great movie waiting for someone to say that,
twelve monkeys was good but would have liked to see more of that future world.
logan's run confused the crap out of me of course i was like five when i watched it.
