Please be specific. I am going to put a lot of thought and work into this, because it's fun for me, so if I could see some really good ones that would be great.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As soon as I KNEW it was all happening, I would be at my home (assuming). I'm not being evil here, but my dad works in one of the most populated areas. He'd be gone. We're not that close anyway (he hates me), but I won't go into all that...anyway. I'd call my best friend. Me and her are a lot alike, and we would be thinking the same things. I'd be running around my house, getting supplies. I would need:

1) Backpack - I have a very good one, tough leather and a lot of space, and when it zips up it decreases in size. Waterproof as well.

2) Crowbar - There's one in my garage, not 30 seconds from where I sit. Screw all those axes, hammers, etc. Crowbar has an end for cutting AND bludgeoning, is reasonably light, balanced, and easy to swing. It's also very practical, considering I can move heavy things, break through doors, and it's sturdy enough to hit something too hard to break and not be damaged.

3) Compound Bicycle - I have a bicycle in my garage that folds up pretty small (fits in backpack). It doesn't have all those fancy gearshifts, but it has one for speed and one for distance. Both are extremely useful depending on the situation.

4) If possible, I would find some kind of long-range weapon. My dad may have one somewhere, I would search briefly for it. I would prefer some type of crossbow-pistol, for reusable ammo, but we can't have everything.

5) Phone - Whether or not it will work for long, I would need it THEN. I need to be able to contact people until I can meet up with them.

6) Water - In whatever way I can carry it. Forget food, I can find that anywhere.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once I had all these things, I would leave my house. Some say you need to stay inside, holed up, but you will run out of supplies. I want to be out fast and early when there are less zombies. I would head to a meeting place my friends and I have in our neighborhood, between my friends and I. I would stay in a SMALL group with my friends. For you people out there saying "safety in numbers", more people attracts all the wrong kinds of attention. Even if you split up and run, some would get caught, meaning that every time you live it's because you put somebody else in danger. There would be 6 people I would go with, as well as their stats. They would be:

Jessica: My best friend for a while now. She's very intelligent in all the same ways I am. She's 5'8'', and very thing and fit. She's by the far the fastest of us, and has the best endurance. She's also very lithe and agile, and has good reflexes. She has a wiry kind of strength, but she's the weakest of the group by far. Her only other drawback is her sleeping patterns, since she needs a good amount of sleep and doesn't wake easily.

Trevor: He was my best friend in childhood, but we grew apart and he is now just a close friend. He has the same level of intelligence as Jess and I, but he tends to concentrate on one thing and ignore the rest. He has a medium build, and is pretty fast. He is pretty strong, but not in comparison to me. His aim is ok, and he can hold his own with a melee weapon.

Justin: Trevor's older brother, another of my childhood friends. He's a good thinker, not as smart as Trevor. He is faster and has better endurance, but very small. He probably couldn't hold a melee weapon, but his aim is pretty good.

Sam: My best guy friend. Extremely book-smart, doesn't fall too short in street smarts either. About my height, but much sligher and weaker. He only exceeds Jessica by a bit. He's pretty fast though, the closest to Jessica in speed, but his endurance falls short by a lot. He's not very strong, and I don't know how his aim is.

Christian: My friend, and Sam's best friend. Doesn't have much intelligence concerning books, but he's ok with street smarts. He IS, however, very strong for his build. He has the same build as Sam, maybe a bit bigger, but his wiry strength approaches mine in size. He's not very fast, but he has goode endurance. He's a quick learner though, and I think he would be handy in a melee fight. His aim is poor, however.

Marco: A good friend to all of us. Not very intelligent anywhere, pretty much average all-around. He's the shortest (5' 7''), but has a large build like me. He's even stronger than Christian, but I still have a lot over him there. One quality he has with strength that I don't is that, bascially, he can't be knocked over. A whole horde of zombies could slam him head-on at the same time and he would barely slide a foot. His speed is worse than mine, but his endurance is slightly better. He's be excellent in a melee fight, as he has a lot of experience (he's a bit of a hot-head). He's a very good natural fighter, like I am, and more suited for group fights.

Me: You've probably figured it out from all the above info, but I'll post here anyway. I'm very intelligent, not so much in book smarts but extremely in street smarts. I'm a light-speed thinker and evaluator, to the point where my brain absorbs thousands of details every second. My strength is the best in the group, by quite a bit. I can run at average speed for the most part, but my endurance is very low with running. I'm the best melee fighter, because of my strength and my natural fighting intuition. I pick things up and use them in a fight, a skill that would work well for me. I'm, a fair shot with a gun as well.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All together, we make a very good group. Plenty of long range skill, mixed in with some excellent melee fighters should the need for it arise. After we were all together, we would probably head to one of our houses. Since I don't know the layouts, I'm going to assume we went to one with stairs we can destroy, a safe room on the second floor, and a window with the ground within jumping reach. We would stay holed up there, hiding, using what food there was in the house until things had settled down a bit. We would take shifts sleeping until we were all well rested, and head out during the daytime, where we could see. We would then move towards the shopping center area, where most of the supplies we would need was, and take care of anything we met on the way. If we had seen another group, we probably would have ended up just passing them. Once we had all the necessary supplies, we would find a building that was large enough, had multiple exits, and that could be sealed. We would hold out there until help came, or we had to move on again.

The end....for now.

*Generally, at some point, we may have met uo and joined with others to better fortify a location. You never know, safety in numbers may actually come through under the right circumstances. Anybody else want to take a shot at this? :D

Well Hears my plan, Basicly I have a Kit I put together in case of such events.
Backpack-Pretty good big backpack, Can fit alot inside and still very light, durible, waterproof, With many other pouches to hold other stuff.
Clothes-I have some pretty good running shoes that I would wear,I also have some durible leather boots that I would wear if I had to face rough terrain or my running shoes wore out. I'd put on a normal white tee with a light leather jacket (depending on the weather). for minor protection against bites. some leather gloves for extra grip. . Some good fitting jeans. That breathe. Not baggy. Not to tight. I have just the pair, They are the more durible kind and i have two other pairs. Something like a doo rag to cover my hair, so that those mother fuckers can't grab at it. plus my hair is pretty long and I don't want it in my way.
Weapons-I have on .22 Cal PPk pistol with 2 clips. For short range. The .22 round would be good because it dosn't drop as hard as heavier rounds and tis light. and VERY common It goes in the skull and bounces around, a very effective way to kill zombies. I also have a .45 cal pistol. It wouldn't be as effective due to a heavier round and a heavier gun. The round drops fast also and I only have one clip. But its always good to have back up. I'm a decent shot with both of these guns. I would take a hammer and a crowbar for meele protection, and for prying open things or breaking shit. lol. I would also have a medium sized knife and a swiss army knife. For very close range protection and for cutting shit. Lol again.
Supplies-I have a first-aid kit with all the basic medical suplies.water bottle, water purification tablets, nails, can opener, small tire pump, a few cans of food.
Transportation-I have a twelve speed mountain bike that costed alot of money. Its fast and very durible and reliable, Its a great bike that will last me years.
Well After I have all my stuff together wich I can have togethr within a minute. I'll need to get my poeple together. We all live biking distance away and we all own similar bikes. We all have a handgun and we all believe and have the same plans. I have four poeple on my list.

Abby: Very fit and fast with great running and biking endurance, She does gymnastics and soccer and we have been friends sence kindergarden. She ahs a slight build and is stronge. She could hold her own against a zombie with a meele fight. She also does parkour. (We all do parkour). She as well as the rest of us is very in shape.
Justin: My best guy friend and a very optimistic kinda guy. Hes faster than everyone and about as stronge as me, A little weaker. He has a mild amout of endurance and is a great shot with his 9mm. He is great at parkour, Even better than me. The only setback is that he eats alot. And of course our food is heavily rationed.
Nick-He has a slim toned build and is pretty stronge and only a bit slower than me and Justin. Altough his parkour skills kind of lack he makes up for it with his super quick thinking and hes a great shot. He also owns a Remington 870, a 9mm Berret,Glock, And has plently of ammo for each of them. He would probebly end up giving up the ammo and we would ditch the guns.
Anthony-Hes short, But this dude is a beast. Hes just as good at parkour as I am. A great shot. Mildly stronge. He is faster than all of us by far, Dosn't eat to much, And is a quick thinker, He also knows our surroundings like the back of this hand. We all got a good sense of direction though.

Our plan is to all get on our bikes and go to Nicks house. From thier we will stock up and hold for awhile. Unti our food supplie runs out or the zombies start to build up to much After that we bike. We bike to the more rural areas. We are travelers. We stay on the move and stay away from populated areas raiding buildings and staying alive. Until the whole things calms down. If things only get worse we raid a final shop and bunker down some place until all the zeds die off. That is if we have enough food. If thats not an option we would go into a wal-mart or target. Enough canned food in thier to feed an army. Our greatest weapon is our minds. Well thats all I got for my survival plan.
"Me: You've probably figured it out from all the above info, but I'll post here anyway. I'm very intelligent, not so much in book smarts but extremely in street smarts. Forgot modest :P hehe
Lol sorry. I am a good thinker, and I am very strong. But, as I said, my running speed and endurance is suck-tacular :P
i run track and play football and swim, not to mention off season strength training, so i have plenty of endurance, but not even close to a zombies, they'll walk or shuffle, until they fall apart, until their feet grind to nothing, until they rot , until theres nothing left, to get you. its a scary thought.
well i would of course be at the places at which im at everyday. school, or home, but probably at school. during a disaster, they keep you in the school, but i would leave asap, and take my 2 friends, no names disclosed, and go to my house then theirs, get my backpack, and my car, with water, and rations. this consists of my 2 quart canteens, and my fake food. (its artificial powder substance wit 60 grams of protein, 45g of carbs, 12g of fiber and a days worth of vitamins, per 2 scoops.) then, get my machete, with compact sharpener, a torch lighter, swiss multitool, serrated 6 inch knife, 2 pairs of socks, then put on my combat boots, carhartt pants and coat with under armor layers,(it gets cold up here in michigan) then grab my bike, and drive the less traveled roads up north. once up to my cottage, with my family we will all go up into the mountains, and take shelter within a ski resort. there's very, very few people in that are, not even a match for 2 of us. in all, theres about 200-250 year round residents, and it climbs in the winter and summer, but i think tourist season will be over, when they're all zombies. i'll sit up on top of the mountain, in the ski resort, it has its own well, a lot of stored food, and it will be easier to defend, being on top of the mountain, with atleast a 45 degree angle in front, and almost a straight drop in the back with some trees. theres a lot of large buildings, with only a few windows, sturdy construction made of mostly stone and hardwoods, it has a restaurant, small hospital, and many csleeping quarters, and the ski lifts, and snow makers would make great weapons and getaway vehicles. the snow makers are giant fans, with hoses running to them, which spray slushy stuff over the mountain, to create more snow, only used when it gets to about 20 degrees, which is the high for most of the season, so my plan is to wait it out, stay here, then when it gets cold, make some noise, lure zombies to the mountain, and turn on the snowmakers, and freeze them all, then burn them. ill repeat this process, until they're all out of the area.
I'd more than likely be at my house during a full scale outbreak.
After confirming that the situation is undoubtedly F.U.B.A.R. I'd run about my room quickly because all my supplies are in here. After grabbing my bug-out bag *which I did make ^_^* I'd get dressed in my duel jackets, 'cos it does get cold during the night and the outer jacket is made of canvas, cargo pants, steel-toe boots, leather-fingerless gloves and my painters mask and motorcycle goggles. (Odd combo I know, but the painters mask is rated to keep out particles should the virus be airborne or blood splatters anywhere near my mouth region and the goggles would protect my eyes from splatter and other hazards.)

My bug-out bag consists of several things I consider crucial:
Large medical kit x 1
small medical kit x 2
20 Oz. Bottle water x 2
flashlight x 1
flashlight battery pack x 1 (four D-cells)
Map of California x 1
Compass x 1
Standard spiral journal x 2
Pens x 3 (Uniball pens, unbeatable)
Pack of cigarettes x 4 (Unhealthy I know I don't advocate it but I don't think it'll matter when most people are dead anyway)
Pack of lighters x 2 (Lighters are always nifty)
Box of strike anywhere matches x 1 (In the event the lighters are all duds)
Road flares x 3 (Never know when you'll need to signal a chopper, or distract a zombie)
Box of .22 bullets x 1 (Five hundred light-weight bullets...now if only I had the gun XD)
Package of beef jerky x 2 (beef jerky is awesome)
and last but not least...
Bottle of J.D. x 1 (Never know when you'll need to trade, make a Molotov Cocktail, or celebrate)

Though this looks like a lot of things, when carefully organized in a standard Jansport backpack, everything fits quite well and it's not a lot of weight. I've taken several mile-long runs with my bug-out bag on and it's not an unreasonable amount of weight if you're decently fit.

After completing my check-list of things, I would take one last swig of whiskey, say goodbye to my Fender Acoustic Guitar (I couldn't take it with me, too much restraint on my mobility) and I'd head to the garage to get the axe. We don't have a crowbar oddly enough, so the fire-axe will have to do.
Equipped with the fire-axe, I'd leave the house, locking the front door before heading off into the city of Menifee. Moving quickly, I'd make my way towards the east to avoid heading deeper into large cities. My friends all have their own plans, and we agreed to meet at a predetermined spot in the Arizona Desert, knowing those guys, I'm certain most of us would make it there.

Once out of Menifee, I would simply keep on the move, sleep only when I'm in a secure location and attempt to find any reasonable fire-arm I could. Hopefully I could find a Ruger Model 10/22 .22 caliber rifle 'cos I'm rather skilled with that weapon, not an expert, but I can hold my own with it.
From there I'd go from town to town as quickly as I could, looking for others obviously and supplies. Though it might sound foolish, I'd try to find a motorcycle or a large off-road truck and some gas-canisters to get to Arizona faster.

We're not sure what we'll do once we reach Arizona, but it will probably involve a race to the East Coast so I can find my friend Kiddo, and maybe a boat if feasible.

That's all I have for now.
Sulaco Out.
Ya'll are funny. The only important thing is survival. Are you more likely to die from a bite, or starvation? I'd have to say a bite, but maybe I'm wrong...

There's no need for "Large or Small Medpacks" stop playing video games and basing your opinions of real life on those. A medpack is simply medical supplies...have one...usually called a first aid kit...also, learn basic lifesaving skills. Can you mend a broken bone? No, neither can I, but I know how to splint an arm to prevent the bone from doing any internal damage, or making a break worse than it is...CPR, Self aid and buddy care...do you know what kind of plants you can eat if you can't find food? learn that too. and learn how to set traps...if you're not going to sleep until your in a safe place, you may never sleep again. Learn how to defend yourself...you're a human being, and you need to constantly try to improve yourself. The better you prepare, the more likely you'll survive. Strength, speed, and endurance are equals, work on them all...
Ok my turn to try this
Region
Like I’m not in the USA I’m in South America at the moment, it would be bold move to go into the jungle down here for many reasons, natural dangers, animals, poison, and the very terrain. The good thing about this is that I don’t think zombies can survive all this things. May be the animals and the poison won’t kill them. But I think that the rivers the vines, canyons and quicksand will get read of them faster than us humans that are able to know not to go strait cus you’ll fall into a never ending pit. But I think I can take on zombies the go into the Amazon and survive, I don’t got the skill of that guy from the natgeo that eats bugs and bit into the fishes spin to kill it instantly as u eat it( that guy is hardcore can’t remember his name tho)
Outfit
Ok I’m from New York and most of my clothing is baggy people down here do not use baggy clothing they look at u weird. U saying clothing don’t matter, but It does. I would use my black- white camo (spray paint them black no rush, it would help me calm down and collect myself, a real person would be pissing their pants with fear or worry) wear a black long sleeve shirt, under all this I would wear the elbow and knee guard they use for motocross (neighbor has one I’ll go steal it from him he’s never home) my Nike air force1. Gloves for grip (think my neighbor has them too) and a head band, I tend to sweet a lot and the sweet gets to my eyes as they drip from my forehead. Try to keep it all black who knows maybe them zombies can’t see in the dark and ill get around them. And my rose marry ever since I got it people don’t try to jack mi nor any close to dead situations.
Gear
Ok I got this backpack that’s cool looking that’s about it really it can carry not a lot so unless my neighbor has a better 1 im screwed (it can carry like 2 soccer balls)

• Box of Matches x2
• Lighters x2
• My piggy flash light (both mine and my sisters if she’s dead, its big as my4 fingers, self charge)
• spiral notebook the small1s x2
• pens x4
• world map
• map of Colombia
• cell phone I got a crappy one (so got to go steal 1)
• bandages
• compass
• toilet paper
• drugs, for headache, stomach pains, flu, others the whole drug cabinet lol
• binoculars

Weapons

Well in my apartment I got 2 machetes there’s an axe out in the hall and I got my bird dagger in my room. And that’s about it. I’m 100 present sure that I’ll get a gun outside cuz the police are all soldiers. What are the chances that every single soldier will live.

Plan

Ok first call all those on my cell) tell them to meet up at a location not in the city. Got there and call them again. If no 1 comes within 3 hours (or the zombies get there first) I would go to the mountain region of Colombia which is 11 blocks west of my apartment. Take some survivors along the way (if they sick ill kill them don’t care whose baby’s mama it is) go up there and do our best to block up the road to get up there (there is only one road and it’s on the side of a mountain with cars and other things that r big and heavy. Get all the remaining survivors. And start killing off the zombie threat that are inside the area we are in. Food up here is good dang Colombia is mostly green life so there’s a lot of fruit trees around a lot. If things crappy and there we are losing to the zombie threat. There is a way to leave the area but it takes brains to leave, I don’t think a zombie can jump or swing place to place, and know where they are going. I hope they are resident evil zombies not the dawn of the dead ones. If I get out the idea would be then to go to Antarctica and isolate myself.
or try to go to the colombian island ( http://www.hiltonpond.org/ThisWeek051022.html ) which are beautiful places and try to make them safe zones by killing off the zombies that r there(these islands are not so big). Then move on to another island like Puerto Rico that closes to San Andres. Then Cuba and D.R. there’s also the Islands of Margarita, all this are in the Caribbean, and I don’t think zombies can swim(don’t really know that but they can’t smell us from the main land)

I would fight to the end cuz I believe that just surviving and moving around is not helping no1 u will still die in the end rather be infected, starvation, or old age. I would fight for the sons and daughters of the future of mankind. And if anything lets go to the moon lol
