I say it was decent enough, even with its obvious flaws, that's the writers fault tho.
For the length of the first Ep they should have done allot more action oriented, imo
and not walked into the usual flaws Zombie movies/ series have.
Lets hope it picks up and not continues down that path of obvious Zombie flicks mistakes.

When you can walk down the street durning a zombie out break, you've made a pretty big mistake. This show is story based, theres not sapose to be much action in it. Thats why its on AMC. I'm really disapointed in this show.

I believe the series, like the comic, is character driven. It may be a little slow for some but not as slow as waiting a month or more for the next issue.

Whatever this was, shouldnt we just celebrate now that Zombies actually made it into a TV series? I mean cmon since 28 Days the thing became a hype, but i never would have expected something like this. However the series started, in my oppinion the best shows in history started kinda "boring" or "slow", like DS9 in example. But from the point of view how it was done im just totally happy, the slow setting i found perfect to introduce you to a zombie world. The actors look convincing and the rest it just well done. I cant wait to see the next seasons.

all n all it was a perfect way to start the series... i loved the way the story is played out.. starting out slow and building up minute by minute..... till the end, and then leaving you flat out hanging waiting for next weeks episode... i see this show destined to be one of the greats. Like the shield, and breaking bad or even madmen!!! and honestly to all who thought it was stupid or not fast enough.... really? half of you if not all wont even be around for the second show....... you'll be ripped apart or just waiting for that one bullet. right between the eyes...... i say thank you frank....
