I see your point. Makes sense.
LOL, so Killer, basically what you are saying is the same thing I hear from a good number of people here...they are all going to carry all of these guns and ammo...my question, Where? LOL
I liked the show. I love that they did not try to fill the show with a lot of actions scenes. It is a drama show set around zombies. People stories, not zombies stories. I am looking forward to the next episode; I want to know how the dumb-ass in the tank is going to get out of it.
I thought it was amazing. The pacing, the make-up effects, the acting, the dedication to the plot composition of the comics ....all top notch.
Duuuuuuuuuuude, I thought the zeds got you..........
lol almost my friend, almost :D
Listen, if my wife says she likes a Zombie show and wants to watch it every week it has to be decent. I can understand why some folks might not like it. There was no Alice, no mutants, no zombie dogs, no gravity defying leaps in the air. There was some acting, makeup, special effects and storyline. Hey, it even stayed somewhat true to the comic book it is based on. I'll be watching every week.

i loved the show but the shots to the head with the cj arterial spray sucked that was truly my only dissapointment
Show was freakin awesome. We zombie fans are in good hands given the work done previously by the director and producer. I'm also thrilled AMC is giving our goofy subculture some major exposure... maybe humanity won't all die off after all?
I liked it. Yeah, the episode was a little slow, but it begins after the battle was lost. The world had settled down. I also liked how the episode presented the main character. Episode One seem to establish his purpose. He's a guy who wants to resume a normal life. At the beginning, he called to a little girl who picked up a teddy bear because that seemed normal. And at the end, he charged forward into the city recklessly after seeing a chopper.

There are some things I don't like. I can see a confrontation on the horizon. Wife and Best Friend have clearly moved on. So how that works out will be interesting. Someone will probably have to die, and who that might be is rather transparent.

All in all, I like it. And I'm a guy that prefers zombie shows that focus more on the beginning, when chaos is everywhere, and the weak and strong mingle.
