Anyone on that knows about tanks? I do not know enough about tanks. I was watching the action and not paying attention to the props. I will assume it is a US M1a. Is there really an access hatch from below? The door did not seem very thick and appears to have a real vulnerability to mines. It also appears to be a lot more spacious then I remember, not to mention what I thought were two or three rounds of ammo on the wall. I am not trying to nick-pick, rather I am just trying to improve my own understanding.
Oh, and one other thing. If you ever have to use a firearm in an enclosed space, open your mouth as wide as you can. It will help eliminate some of the pressure differential on your eardrums.
those two are the reason why i see it as the M60A3 since the appearance matches, it could also be either a M60T 'Sabrah' or an M60-2000 but the cannon is all wrong and the 'ta 069' wouldn't mean much....
hey it could also be a Frank Darabont Custom *empty movie prop with an M60 set piece inside to be shot separately*
I enjoyed it. I can handle the the fact that there were not a 1,000 zombies on every street corner. What I did not like too much was Atlanta. I was like:
Dude, haven't you ever seen a zombie film? You cannot penetrate enemy territory on a narrow front. Your path of retreat is going to get cut off. Just like Blackhawk Down, you are the only game in town and everyone will be drawn there to overrun your position.
I do have my fears that it will quickly become cliche' and lack creativity. Why?
The only humans he has seen just happen to be living in his house?
The writer is setting up a love triangle with the main character, his best friend and his wife.
Actually, they found him outside of his own house, they were living in a different house. Not sure if it was on the same street or not, he was outside, kid whacks him with the shovel (Not very good zombie killing technique if it didn't take on the first smack) and then he woke up in their house that was very clearly boarded up when his house had plenty of light coming in from the windows...
Another thing I call bullshit on was the fact that hes carrying around atleast 6 guns and untold amounts of ammo. Even if hes carrying it on his horse, it would still break his back after an hour. Besides, WTF does he need all thoughs guns for? I guess an average surviver might make that mistake, but thats a HUGE might.
i see you two didn't think close ahead, Rick still thinks Atlanta is safe with a lot of people ...who will need guns...that is why he's even going to Atlanta or even his other deputies and wife that may have made it to the city *since it didn't look like they took the guns from the station* he even had the uniform put on not for just clothes but uniform means he has a better chance of being recognized by his buddies and having breathing room to move, trust me he wasn't thinking of himself with those guns.......
