You got a point, and again they have considerably more kick than a 9mm or .375 so why choose a .45? stopping power isn't a real issue in a zombie apoc.
of course it is. I don't want a bullet glancing off a skull or not penetrating. The .45 ACP and 9mm are the most proven war time pistol rounds. They have the most statistics backing them. Plus I'm comfortable with the .45 acp and colt.
My team and I use a rare and prototype weapons. such as: , the XM8 rifle (parasniper) XM-29 and the standard German HK G36. They are all good at what they are supposed to do and use mostly unique ammo that we have a large supply of. I personally use two heavily modified and cutomized P90's. They have enlagred clip capacity not to mention special scopes not available (pre outbreak) to most special forces. We had deals with certain ( German and Swedish) weapons dealers in which we would showcase the unique capabilities of said weapons in exchange for "rare and un-used" prototypes. (This was also pre-outbreak.) Some were never put into mass production due to weight issues. We also use many varieties of blade weapons. Knifes, swords and even to a lesser more desperate degree baseball bats with nails in them. I don't give details on our weapons because if you don't know what they are there is no reason for me to waste time on what they do or how they function. We do have a limited supply for sale, however what they might cost you might not be worth survival. Silencers are over rated considering if you have to shoot they know you are there. I would rather have stopping power than sneaking power. Normal hanguns will eventually get your ass killed. What do you have 12, 15 rounds? In a group of runners you are fucked! That is also assuming you have the ability to aim and kill a couple before you are hamburger meat.
P.S. if you are doing a drive-by an uzi will do fine but if you want to actually aim at something and make sure to hit it I would suggest a BB gun over an uzi. At least you know you hit your target despite the whole face being eaten off thing.
have you ever shot an uzi? relatively low kick and its acuracy is moderate. I'm not going to be making shots from 100-200 yards obviously that would be insane if they are at a safe distance i keep away from them. Why attack? You got a 30 to 50 round clip on semi-auto at close range, this gun is deadly and the 9mm round is one of the most common rounds out thier obviously you have no idea what your talking about, its sounds like you've played a bit to much grand theft auto, i'm talking about the submachinegun uzi the one with a full stock and all. not the little micro uzi in the video games. It is way more dependable that you think not to mention light and easy to clean. You need to get to know your guns mate (:
I do? Are you using the carbine, the mini, the micro or the pistol? Is it a recent model with the closed-type bolts? Made of stamped sheet metal? I know my weapons but I am still unimpressed by the uzi. No offense to your choice of weapon but don't assume I don't know weapons my friend. Although since you are not in a desert atmosphere you should never have a problem with it locking up or jamming.
There is no carbine, this is a sub-machinegun with means thats the type i'm using the full stocked 9mm round using uzi, not the mini or the micro.
Ther ARE four types. Uzi carbine, Mini Uzi, micro Uzi and of course the UZI pistol.
Uzi Carbine: standard Uzi with barrel extended to 450mm (16 inches), designed to meet minimum legal rifle overall length requirements for civilian sales in the United States when the stock is folded. Maybe you should do some research.
Iv never heard of the carbine uzi, I know of the sub machine gun, Mini, and the micro, never heard of the carbine, I guess you could call this a carbine, but i'm talking about the submachine gun open blowback. It used a telescoping bolt design wich allows the magazine and reciever to be housed in the pistol grip for a shorter more balanced weapon, with its open bolt design exposes the breech end of the barrel so that it improves cooling during continues fire, however, it means that since the bolt is held to the rear when cocked, the receiver is more susceptible to contamination from sand and dirt ingress, but ith few moving parts its very easy to clean and field strip, its made of sheet metal and it is rugged and reliable, With a 25.6 inch stock it makes the weapon more controllable and it only wieghs 7.72 lbs wich is moderatly light. feed system 10 (.22 and .41 AE), 16 (.45 ACP) 20, 32, 40 and 50-round box magazine. I'd go with the 9mm its very common and can be found anywhere. This weapon would be great during a zombie situation. I don't see why you are so harsh on it, its a great weapon for a zombie apoc. I wouldn't take any other long range weapon. expt the MP5 or MP7 those are also good choices.

Primary: H&K MP7
Primary 2: AR-15
Secondary: M1911A1 Colt 45
Secondary 2: Glock 19
Melee: Machete
Melee 2: Standard Army combat knife
Most of this stuff would be acquired from the military base I am stationed at and the rest I could acquire trough some of my contacts.
a firemans axe is heavy and there is a big chance it will get stuck in a zombies skull, and chances are that you wont be facing one zombie, you'll be facing two or three at close range, where theres one there bound to be more plus if you swing and miss you could hurt yourself, I would stay away from the firemans axe, as fr the bat it could work because i'v seen it break things as stronge as human bone and more. Get a wooden one though. A metal bat will easily bend, a wooden bat may take a few swings before you get that kill but it could work. As for the .38 idk revolvers i mean only 6 shots? what if you need more. If you want a small but effective side arm get a .22 cal pistol. They could get the job done as well as any other gun and a 12 gauge? sounds good to me, your weapon pack needs a little work and I hope this helps.
