Zed bite
I was talking to my little brother and he asked me something that is stuck in my head. Ok it plays out like this:
You are walking down the middle of the road with a chainsaw (for all the nay sayers out there go with it for now) when a small group of zombies comes breaking out of the house. You start up the saw and kill all of the zombies but one which is behind you when you turn around the zombie bites you on the hand.
Now if you take the saw and chop off you whole arm will you still turn? or will you be ok becuase you didnt allow the virus to spread.

I would say it would be to late already. I mean, if something like that happened, your blood would be pumping like a hemi down the drag strip, so the virus would be going right with it.
On the other hand, if it didn't spread, and you did manage to chop off your arm in time (saying that you can actually do this) I think that in this manner, you would simply bleed to death. After all, that's a mighty nasty wound.

You just killed the zombies with the chainsaw, cutting your arm of will only make things worse because if the virus hadn't spread, it will. The zombies' coagulated blood and body bits left in the teeth of the chainsaw surely isn't healthy. By the time it has been cleaned (in theory) the virus had probably run its course through your system. Besides, in a Z-Poc situation, the last thing a survivor needs is an open wound of that degree. Granted it may be better than turning if it can be done, but chances are you'll still die; whether it be from infection, the virus had spread faster than thought, or loss of blood, etc.
Chances are, you're f-ed. Guess thats what happens when you use a chainsaw lol

Depends on the depth of the bite. If it's deep enough to rupture a blood vessel then I'm sorry, you're fucked. If it's localised to the tissue then you may have time to amputate, depending on the aggressiveness of the virus, but please please don't use a chainsaw to do that, especially not one covered in Zed splatter!
