If there was an epic zombie brake out,
Would the govt really call them zombies .I think that would probabley just cause panic

The government would call them by the classificaton and warn people to tell them for any sightings for Infected Individuals and would go to military rule and quarentines and would pass amendments to overule the first amendment so no brodcasts could be seen the world would go totalitarianism overnight and nobody would know better

I think they would call them somethign along the lines of the "Insurgents" make up some crap story for as long as they could and hope it works.

There is no time for debates and decisions, if there is a outbreak, you must crush it, crush it fast and disguise the incident.

Cover-Up, so your question is contradicted comrade, if the government kill it before it spreads, then there will be no need to call it anything.

But if it spreads, infected is a nice touchy name

Yo VK! No one here disagrees with you. The quickest and easiest way is precision attacks and quick clean up.

But not everyone in the world is down-to-earth-normal-people like you or I. We have another type out there, called politicians, who deem it necessary to inflict their own controls upon us. they are the ones who'd attempt to hid any evidence, and essentially screw us all over, just to save their sorry hides. which is why they won't last very long. Airmen, Soldiers, Marines and Sailors just aren't dumb enough to stand around protecting these douche-bags while they sit in a room eating doughnuts and drinking beer...

But the idea here is that they'd try to cover it up, mess it up, and then it spreads, killing at least 75% of the population. They would literally try to say they aren't zombies and use a "tactfull" way to say they are zombies without actually saying...I agree, Infected is probably the first name they'd use.
