Ok so we all know that if a zombie bites you turn, but! Think about it the dead can not produce saliva. Therefore a bite would have no real affect but make you bleed.

The dead don't produce saliva, but then again they also tend not to stand back up and try to eat our brains. Since Zeds are the exception to the latter, why not the former too?
Men aren't inteded to have babies, but it's happened. The whole idea is that there are limitations, men cannot get pregnant, but can have an embryo implanted. So, because they stand up and eat our brains doesn't mean anything goes. They are still limited to the physics of the human body.

Now to chime in...Basically, they carry a virus, and that virus should be in every cell of that body. The first bite transmits to whatever flesh touches the mouth, it continues to multiply, it doesn't just stay in one place, it continues to multiply. Anything that can create a zombie, obviously doesn't need living tissue to exist or multiply...
its that the infeted has bactiera that spreads like the cold but thourgh the open wound aka the bite or vomiting blood or acid from the stomich thats rotting and stolling in the zombie
True, but decaying flesh tends to ooze and trust me, a corpse is infested with a boatload of bacteria not to mention that the human mouth is one of the filthiest body parts than most animals in the natural order.
Who knew that Zombies had a serious case of "dry mouth"?
