zombie prompts.
After reading through every entry multiple times... and i have decided, the winner of this zombie prompt contest is Boogie Mann with "the anniversary" it was the perfect mixture of sadness (unspoken of course), obsession and insanity, my favorite three things in writing. The runner up is Andrew C with "Saturday 11-4-07" his writing style stuck with me after i was finished reading it (the four times i did read it) and he has mastered the writing style i have been trying to perfect for years and haven't be able to.

*I have seen how good this is coming, more people entered then i was expecting, so i decided to make the deadline saturday may 7th, before 11:59, wherever you are :]*
I want to try something, it's like Skot's video contest, but its a blog contest. for all of those people who dont have cameras or dont want to or dont know how to make a video.
I do have to say though, i don't have the money to buy people a shirt when they win, and i'm not the owner of the website like Skot, so i can't just send you one. I don't know what I can do for prizes, for now, there won't be any, it's just for fun. maybe later i can get together with some people and work out prizes and some other details. but for now its just an experiment. i will have a first place and a runner up, and maybe some honorable mentions, if there are a lot of really good ones. i hope people will join me in doing this :]
the first prompt i will do is:
Think about someone you love. Did they die? Leave? Or are they with you now? Talk about what happened to them and how your relationship was before the apocalypse.

the only thing i forgot to write was how our relationship was before the appocalypse.
it doesnt matter how long or short it is, as long as you try.
right now, im going to open up this contest until people start hearing about it, so for now there is no due date. just write your blog (max three entries per account) and post a link in the comments section.

lol... there were a lot of entries give her a break... i'm sure the winner will be announced soon enough... i myself have at least 3 favorites with a few close runners... Thank You Braise! I thought this idea was kick-ass from the start! I just wanted to have fun with it, and give all the readers my take on losing someone I love in the ZPOC. I also enjoyed all the stories submitted. Everybody had their own unique style! Biting my cracked nails for the next one! lol!

i will work on my example entry today while im at work, type it up saturday and post everything sunday. im about to graduate technical school, so i have a lot of studying and work and shit to do, so i think i'll give this one a few weeks so i can have time after graduation on the 24th of may to judge everything, then i can give you guys my full attention :]
