Anybody know of a really good zombie book? I haven't read Dead Inside Do Not Enter yet, but I've seen pretty mixed reviews.

Hi Mr. Jeff,
Aside from the popular World War Z book, Down the Road (by Bowie Ibarra) is pretty good along with The First Days: As the World Dies (by Rhiannon Frater). You can also try the original Night of the Living Dead (by John Russo) or Dawn of the Dead (by George Romero). There are more zombie books now than before, so it can be overwhelming. Check out Amazon, type in zombies (under books) and read the reviews. That's what helped me choose.
I hope this helps out.

Permalink Reply by F Clef Jeff on December 18, 2011 at 6:07pm Thank you. I forgot all about World War Z. I found one a while back that takes place in a Z-Poc, but it was written as text conversations between survivors. It sounded like a cool concept, but I wasn't quite sure if I could stand to read a whole book's worth of text writing lol.
Feed by Mira Grant, I believe. It is a great zombie read.
Permalink Reply by F Clef Jeff on December 19, 2011 at 4:04pm I'm looking at reviews for it - it sounds pretty good, and I love series books. They're not about zombies, but the Night Watch series by Lukyanenko is great if you ever get a chance to read them. Either way, I'll check out Feed sometime, I like what the reviews are saying. Thank you.

I freakin' LOVE Patient Zero! Also..The Monster Island trilogy by David Wellington. Three of the most unique, awesome zombie books out there! They are a must read.
