Permalink Reply by James McDonald on April 18, 2011 at 9:24pm Ive thought about writing a zpoc survival guide. If I do Im going to base mine more on actual survival skills, and not on theories of what zombies will be like. Brookes has some good ideas, but there are a lot of things that are not tactically sound in what he writes. I want to give knowledge on how to survive, and leave major cities. Then how to live once your out there. I'll let you know if I get something wrote down Gabbs. ;-)
Permalink Reply by Ron Salter on April 19, 2011 at 5:54am Leave the word Zombie off and there are lots of good survival books out there, it's all relevant info, all you need to add to is
"Shoot for the head" and "The Mall is a bad idea".
Type Survival into Amazon and it will give you Urban and rural/wilderness survival books. Just make sure they are relevant to where you live. No use in carrying and learning snow survival stuff if you live in a desert area.

the book is more like a survival guide for zombies on how to catch there prey, how to alert other zombies, where to look for prey. the point is, if you reverse the book to be a survival guide for living then it really is better than Max Brooks...
there is also 'How to speak Zombie.'
