Awsome I've got my own survival kit with knives, a little food and water, water purification tools, cotton, Swiss flint and metal fire starter, lighter, some ammo, some common tools

I have a Condor EDC bag that I always keep on me. Which holds a Ka-Bar & sharpening stone, an XDm w/ a pair of extra mags, Otis cleaning kit, magnesium rod, strike anywhere matches, multivitamins, a Gerber, paracord bracelet, a couple energy bars (whose recipe is from the great Alton Brown), my iPhone and a spare cell (since iPhone's batteries don't last like the old candy-bar style & you don't need a cell plan to make outgoing 911 calls. Thanks FCC!), ear plugs, nail clippers, a tube of petroleum jelly, purification tablets, and spare keys (because people always drop their keys in a panic).

...oh and a Redline tact-light.
