Zombies aren't superheroes- runners

Although an individual infected with Campion's could potentially survive for a period of time, they would firstly be debilitated due to their illness, and secondly would have all the requirements of a normal human being to maintain their biological systems. "Runners" therefore may be hyper aggressive and  fast in bursts, and have no pain or fear perception, but they would also have a very limited life span as they do not seem to drink water, and depending on their ability to find food and eat it, their physical capabilities, already not good, would dwindle quickly. Due to the lack of pain perception they could use their maximum potential strength, but this presupposes muscle and tendon damage, broken teeth and fingers, and other injuries that pain perception is designed to prevent.

I would postulate that the average "runner", this being an individual infected by Campion's with the usual symptoms, but remaining viable and alive, would have a life expectancy of between a week and ten days, the last half of which their actual physical potential would be less than the average human.
