would you rather be up against zombies that never starve to death and can infect with the simplest penetrating of the skin, or be up against rage zombies that run, dont get fatigued and can infect you with any fluid of any kind but starve to death ?
Patience is a virtue, therefore the RAGERS... provided you can make your escape and stockpile enough supplies to survive, then just wait it out 'till the bastards starve. That's where I'd rather be.
The 'Rage' Zombies in 28 weeks later only have rage because the virus pumps adrenilne 24/7, You do not have to kill them with a headshot any type of body shot can kill them... i rather have 28 weeks later virus here...but sadly im stuck with a resident evil virus...
what kind of doors would you have to get to and from the bomb shelter? probably some reinforced metal plating of somekind. if enough zombies are in one location and are focusing on the same thing they can break down lots of doors and stuff so ya i think you'll be fine with whatever type of undead. the bad part would be having to leave incase of helping other survivors or to gather more supplies if your running low on food. i still wouldnt prefer having running meat bags coming after me. rage zombies would be able to spread faster but die out quicker. so ya pot shots ftw.

cross combanation rage that moves at the pace of res zombies
well the rage "zombie" is not a zombie. I know that many people would disagree but nobody is imune to the zombie virus. But the rage "zombie" has very few carriers who show no sign of infection. Im sorry if it sounds like I am being rude but it is true. and the rage infected can die after so long because they still have a need to eat.
So i would rather go up against an actual zombie.
Yes, definitely the rage zombies are better, because you can save yourself if you are able to avoid them until they starve to death, but I'm not so fast at running, so it would be better for me to find those classic slow motherfuckers and destroy their brains.
I would have to go with the runners. Them starving to death could mean another way of surviving. Keeping them away would be the hard part, seeing as they can climb and run and spit at you.
