Why the fuck would we want to start over? Do you not realize what humanity has done to the world? We've fucked it up pretty bad. If (I mean WHEN) an outbreak happens, it's happening because we as a race deserve it. I'll stay alive as a human only beacuse I am a masochist and this would be fun for me, but seriously, rebuild? Remake society? Remake the government? Get your fucking priorities straight people, if the world goes to shit and the goverment doesn't help, why would you make it again?

You people are why history repeats itself. It'll only happen again and again and again until we're all dead.

Maybe that's what we deserve...

I find this to be a rather interesting take on things. Humans, despite our tendency to believe in our own unique personalities are far more of a pack animal than we realize and that is where such things come into play. If we are not going to ban together, than what is the point in going on at all?

While I appreciate your unique take on things, alone you may last, but you will be alone against overwhelming odds and your death is assured at some point as it is with all of us.

I can sense a level of anger in your response, perhaps you have many good reasons to feel this way, it is not for me to judge. However, I think that to suggest that people should not try to reform a society of some type, and to do so in such a manner, is unlikely to do much more than garner a negative response. Your point may have merit, but I think that perhaps, since the Dead are not ACTUALLY knocking, scraping and banging on our door, now is the time to discuss the merits of your opinion in a manner of appropriate discourse...

You say that we "Deserve" it. I am interested to understand why you believe this. Does the 5 year old Autistic child deserve to be devoured? The newborn baby? The Mother? The Father? There are people that live in a manner in which they wish to make the least environmental impact, that wish to have a positive influence...do these people deserve to die? Why? Is all of humanity to be judged for the actions of a few?

Within every single human mind and body, every one of the 6.2 billion we have here on earth, every single person has the ability to be the next Hitler or Bin Laden. With choices like those and the knowledge that we usually make the wrong choices and end up making our world a more devastated place, why would a single one of us deserve to live here?

Before I went into the military, I lived in Detroit. By myself I had enough money to get a place downtown, and hardly enough to buy food for myself after I payed rent. My boss was an asshole, my landlord was a nazi, and all around me were people that would rather point a gun at you than say 'hello'. I enlisted in the military after a year of being there and spent two years in service.

I had more bullet holes in my body from living in that ghetto then when I served in Afghanistan.

If something like this happens to the human race, returning to "normal" would do us what good? Regardless of what that could do to society, there would always still be people killing people.

If we really did put society back together, could we ever work as a group to help ourselves? Would you be able to get along with your worst enemy? Would the United States of America bend down and help countries like Africa and Iraq without a pistol in one hand?

No. Humanity will not change. We didn't change after WWI or WWII, why would we change after Z-Day?

Yes, humanity is a byword for Xenophobic Pack animals, but within all of us is the will to do what's right. you mention hitler and Osama Bin Laden, but not mother Theresa or Ghandi

Our curiosity would probably cause the outbreak, but it would also help us contain it, yes, we have, what did you say? "fucked up pretty bad", but we all feel responsible, deep down, and we all try to help in one way or another. you think the world would be better off without us, I think the world would be better off without a gun-slinging manic-depressive like you.
