i like the idea of carrying a shotgun, however i cant seem to find the want to carry something that big for only 6-8 shots in it, no matter how decimating it may be...
so im going to have to go with a shotgun as a side arm.

DB coach gun 12G. Quick to load, quick to point, can fire 2 rounds faster than anything else (even at the same time!), few moving parts, easy to clean. On mine I've disconnected the auto safety (still works manually), switched the triggers over so the front trigger fires the left barrel (just makes sense), polished the chambers so the empties just fall out.

My personal choice is my Saiga 12 with a Wraithmaker 30rd drum with a bandoleer that carries 4 10rd stick mags plus several backups.

Why doesn't anyone think of using a slug gun?  The power of a shotgun with a single 12 gauge slug gets the job done every time.
