Will they freeze?
Let me get to the meat of this. I live in the north and have severe winters. Will these damn things freeze solid? This question is critical to our plans for survival. If they freeze then we will make preparations to hunker down till winter. We will then find new food and fortifications to survive during the rest of the year.

For those who live in temperate climates, this is the big question. If the freeze then they we are not trapped and desparate. We don't have to risk ourselves against the horde to get resources continually. We can wait and plan.

do you have any intel on the north west how it fairs there were some pretty deserted areas and its my understanding that fort irwin in cali had some good places to hold up closest town was barstow its pretty far off though.
