February Contest: Video Interview "What have you lost?"
For February we want interviews. Specifically we want video interviews where your subject talks about losing something. These don't need to be shot with a fancy video camera. They require no special effects. We just want sincere footage of you or someone talking about what they have lost as a result of the zombie apocalypse.
RULES:
1. Entries must be shot on video.
2. They must talk about losing something. It can be a literal thing, like a person or an abstract thing like innocence. Be creative. Be true.
The winner gets a shirt... IF THEY SEND A PHYSICAL COPY OF THEIR ENTRY TO OUR PO BOX:

Then it would be impossible to make this movie. You cannot take a picture of an interview. If we follow your logic we cannot have any contests to get interviews, which are an important part of a documentary.

Most digital camera's can take video or you can pickup a cheap digital video recorder from Wal-Mart for this and future entries. And it doesn't have to look great, in-fact, lower quality may improve the realism of the shot.

I will be entering some footage, can it be with a Laptop Webcam or even a cell phone? I think it will be more creative that way, I like the choppy footage. If not I can get a camera, let me know.

Yes, it can be with any camera. As long as it's footage.

I'm a little confused, when you say shot on video you mean you want an actual physical copy of our footage on a VHS tape?

Answering all questions here...
1. Any rating is fine
2. We realize some folks can't get access to a recording device. We try to change the contests up each month, but our ultimate goal is to make a movie. If we want to achieve this we need MORE footage.
3. Cell phone footage would be awesome! We want you to be creative.
4. You can send us a physical tape or, if you have a hi res video file I will give you a spot to upload it. That will suffice for the t-shirt. Simply post your video and I will ask for a hi res version.
Here's the bottom line, if you blow us away with something we are going to use it in the documentary. Get crazy. -
