you need to scan those and then give them an aged affect liked burned edges

The first is a Jpeg and the second is a Gif, I think I may have lost some colour information on the latter, so I'm uploading both just in case.

"This is a small section of a diary page that miraculously survived a fire at one of the camps in Wisconson. It appears to be written by a few children, and one bit of the text even references the zombies.(Far right) "My mum died but got back up. I thought god did it. They*"
It gives some disturbing insight on the children in the camps.

EDIT: Whoo yeah. Looking at that gif again, I definitely lost a fair amount of colour information.
