ammunition shortages... prices sky rocket!
Were going to have to come up with another means of defense. After the ammo is gone a mellee weapon is fine but in a group of five or more zombies your risk of being bitten while in hand to hand combat is to great. I've come up with some longer range homemade weaponry. For example a converted pellet rifle(don't laugh) that shoots nails, screws, wooden splinters. All in which can penetrate the skull. Also homemade crossbows, slingshots and a cannon about the size of an arm that can be loaded with chain, gravel, glass... Whatever is handy. Its fired with a spark and fueled with hairspray, ether, any flammable aerosol. Also, a tuna can single shot 22 belt buckle... For yourself, just in case. If anyone else wants more detail on these or has more ideas I'd like to hear them.

The shelves are beginning to get stocked again. Watch for prices on ammo, pistols and semiauto rifles to level off. Stock up still. Learn to load your own. it's inexpensive. Lee Precision is the bang for the buck reloading supplies manufacturer. Even if you don't have the gun to shoot your ammo you can trade or sell it. There are more folks needed out there then fighters.
