Keeping an apocalypse scrapbook

Like any war, genocide or mass murder committed in the past your going
to get a fair share of literature, art and scrapbooks out of the zombie
apocalypse. Keeping your own scrapbook/notebook during a zombie
apocalypse can be just as useful as your AK47 (well maybe not quite, but
close). There are a million things to keep/put in your book that can
help you and others. You should strive to make your scrapbook an
invaluable record and item to anyone who should find it should you die.
Example: The scrapbook Alice finds (by the suicide body in the cupboard)
in Resident Evil Apocalypse leads the Claire Redfield convey to Alaska,
where a safe, zombie free area is said to reside.

Your going to need a tool to write with (pen, pencil, felt tip) and a
empty notebook/journal/school book to start with. Your going to want a
notebook/journal/school book with lots of paper in it and your choice of
hardback or paperback. Both have their advantages, hardback being more
durable and paperback being lighter and easier to carry/stuff into your
pocket or bag. Personally I prefer a paperback kept in a snaplock bag.
The following list of things to put in your scrapbook should be helpful
for anyone starting off/planning out their book.

THINGS TO PUT IN YOUR APOCALYPSE BOOK

Diary/journal entries
Inventory eg. food, ammo stores, water, fuel
Survival Guides -fortifying a house eg. killing zombies etc.
Photos, maps, drawings, diagrams eg. draw a diagram of the most
effective places to hit a zombie (head) or pictures of zombies to easily
identify them (zombies for dummies), map where your going, safe places,
supply stores or zombie hot zones
Research eg. cure, safe zones, where survivors might be gathering or
traveling often through
Logs of the people, places etc. you've been/seen/met
Personal details eg. full name, blood type, nationality, IRD number
Recipes eg. molotiv cocktails, napalm, homemade explosives, cookies
Instructions and how to's eg. how to hotwire a car, how to service your
rifle
What not to's eg. Don't hug zombies, avoid big cities
Rules of a zombie apocalypse eg. aim for the head, enjoy the little
things
