National guard facing accusations in handling of outbreak

After the recent viral outbreak of what is being dubbed "human rabies" which ravaged the city of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 30 minutes north of miami, six officers with the Florida National Guard have come forward with some remarkable and disturbing information. The six men, who have asked not to be identified are confessing to the press that their orders upon entering the city were to (A) evacuate any non infected civilians, (B) eliminate all those infected, and, most shockingly (C) eliminate all wounded believed to be possibly infected, even if not fully overcome by the virus. One of the officers in question admits to having his men kill over 35 bitten civilians in a county hospital with bullets to the head. He claims that while he understood the nature of the order he felt that it may have been unnecessary, believing the people could have been kept safely in quarentine away from unifected civilians. The pentagon has yet to release a statement.

Crap.There have been quite a few "disappearances"here of infected people and several killings of "dead" people.But still, the average Joe here in bayou country doesnt even know anything is going on...
My daughter and I have formed a Zombie Posse,if you will,since no one who isnt on drugs will believe us.Its a big job,we are trying to recruit some help....

we know there are zombies here in louisiana..one attacked my dad..most people here don't want to believe it, but we know its true. people think we are crazy, and we may be..lol but we know the truth.

The Pentagon has released a short but concise statement that "[the pentagon] gave no such order to the Florida Nation Guard units in the Fort Lauderdale incident and that such a terrible act was the result of a lapse in judgement caused by the stress of the incident."
On a side note a shockingly high perecentage, possibly as high as 45%, of the guardsmen involved in the operation have been diagnosed with PTSD. The Pentagon cited this as further proof of their claim.

The Pentagon is lying. I've worked with our government's inner machinations long enough to tell when high-ranking military personnel aren't giving out all of the details. This could help provide a little closure: during all of my previous encounters with the undead, my orders have been to eliminate all casualties suspected of infection. It's a thankless and gruesome job, but one I do willingly. You may call me a monster if you wish, but that's what needs to be done in order to protect our people. Just one ghoul could reinfect an entire city, and to be frank, our wuarantine methods leave a fair amount to be desired: they can take an incredibly long time to enact, and a ghoul often slips by simply through dumb luck. Therefore, we never take risks when it comes to those suspected of infection.

so i was thinking.. in the middle of the outbreak most of us wont have home gyms what are some work outs people can do to maintain there bodies with limited resources. any ideas ??

I took the clothes from the deceased guard, along with his weapon, a glock 19... my M4 was out, and 9mm is better then nothing. There was a lot of activity down in these corridors.
eventually I found veggitation again, and a bunker that led to this base... where I was statoned before the outbreak.
I walked for days with my buddy, Leo. He took this pic about 3 hours before he was dragged into an empty building and bitten. I killed all four zombies, but it was too late... he began to change and I had to put him down too.
