I'm Canadian, i wouldn't know where to point a gun so in the mind of safety for everyone I think I'd be better off with a blade.

I think that a sword like a katana or one of those viking swords would be useful to any surviver that just picked it up and started swinging, but that would only last until that person got tired and started to get sloppy. The only way that a weapon, that is not fired, is to be strong and to have the weapon that they know fits right for them.

Actually most WW2 katana are mass produced junk, the are referred to as Gunto or "Bundle swords". Blades from several of the modern chinese forges are infinitely better quality than WW2 Gunto. If you pay under $500 for any katana, it's junk. Unless you train with any kind of sword you are better off with a baseball bat.

Guns are useless in a zombie invasion which is why i joined a group were Blades, and other sharp melee weopons are apreciated.

Musashi- The Japanese 'Gone with the Wind' they say, a sweeping epic dramatizing the life of one of Feudal Japans greatest Samurai. I've read and reread this book(though no Zombies) and have come to believe a good sword and knife would be all that was necessary. Unless your in like downtown Chicago or something(come to think of it in which case a guns not going to help much either) I'd be content and safe with a 33' sword and a 10' knife. I think.

i got a rusty axe . i`d probably do more damage to myself if i used a mace haha
