I know I just joined here. And as such, I may have just overlooked it. But I noticed that there is a lot of talk about mostly bladed weapons like swords and knives of all sorts. But there has not been ANY mention of a certain weapon that goes back to our most primitive ancestor, the CAVE MAN. That weapon is the good old fashioned club. They range from simple things like a huge tree limb to the exotic like the flanged mace. If you had a choice. What would be your club of choice? Here is the ones I chose. They are made of unbreakable polypropylene high impact plastic and produced by the company Cold Steel. These videos say it all.

Oooh yes lol, clubs were not lost on me i actually made a flailed mace able to smash skulls with ease and i have a two foot hard wood bat. But the strongest and heaviest thing in my collection is a sword shaped four foot long quarter inch thick 15-20 pound contrution grade steel bar, i swung it at a target someone built and in one hit i broke the two by fours into four chucks that went flying across the street. here's some pictures of my smash n' cash weapons.

the best thing about a good club is they dont require the maintenance a blade does. so the only time you should ever need to crack out the sharpening stone is when you use the blade to skin and butcher game or after combat with a living foe. when i decided to use a club as a melee weapon. i did a lot of research on this and spent a lot of money to do the research. when all was said and done. i rested my case on what was listed in the videos above. as you can see in them. the company and ZGB also put them through a lot of stress and more then proved positive for strength and longevity. i got my Cold Steel Stuff off a guy in Ohio and dont regret the purchases at $40 a piece because anything over $75 had free shipping. i can give you the info to deal with him if you want to. the only thing he wont do is credit cards or personal checks for mail order. but he does take Postal Money Orders. reason being he said they clear the bank faster. and he wont do the credit card thing because he looks at ID to make sure it is your card and not another persons card. the guy really looks out for his customers. i like that.

Clubs r a great idea. Like a shortend bat. Perfect. Less weight. Same power.

nothing like a good toy that makes a man scream at the top of his lungs "HULK SMASH"! lol.

that bat's no toy trust me on that. it has done its fair share of messing things up over the years if you cant tell by the paint. i'v had it sense i was bout 5 years old and its still is as solid as the day it rolled of the line. that thing has, and still does, not disappoint me. the weight is perfect too, light enough to not notice when you carry it but heavy enough to smash with a one handed swing.

i don't think anyone's forgotten about clubs.  have several homemade ones my self both with and with out spikes. i think people favor blades because they have so many other uses then just zombie smashers. also we have this notion its easier to kill with a blade because it is. at least anything living is. a one to two inch gash if deep enough can eventually cause you to bleed to death if not treated. living things are fragile. undead things aren't and it probably is easier to kill with a club then a blade. after all the first thing the first monkey who picked up a bone and used it as a tool did was kill another monkey with it.
