Welcome to the Collaboration Group
This group is for users who want to work together to submit content and help us achieve our goal of creating the world’s first community generated zombie documentary. Use this group to ask for advice, to talk about you ideas, to meet collaborators, to seek inspiration, brainstorm or for anyway you see fit.
The admin for this group is Laz feel free to contact him with any questions you might have.
This group is where people who want to collaborate together to make a submission towards either the Grid and the final Documentary can plan out their projects.

These members have shown that they can submit high quality proof and are prepared to work with other members to make something special. If you have an idea for a collaboration you can contact any of these people and ask them if they wish to be involved. You may want one of them to make just one scene for you, some special audio (like a phone call) or you may want a whole script to be written for you. Any of the members of this group will do their best to help you. Don't be afraid to ask for something specific if you need it, the members here want to help you and work with you. If you wish your name to be added to those below, you need to provide a small sample of your skills be it filming/writing/photography/audio/editing in the 'Proving Grounds' thread below. Your name will then be added onto this page. Post your sample here to have your name added. When you have an idea, create a discussion in this group and describe your idea. People may approach you wanting to help or you can approach other members by clicking on their name below.

These members can create detailed scripts for you or even just a rough idea or plot for your project.

Filming:
These members can film sequences for your project. They also have access to props and make-up if you are missing a scene, need something filing with props you do not have or are having trouble with a particular part of your submission.

These members can produce special pieces of audio to suit any of your needs, be it police broadcasts or radio warnings etc... they can also provide audio pieces such as voicemail messages or telephone calls.

These members can edit together any pieces you want. Keep in mind the Lost Zombies only supports submissions of up to 100 meg so longer pieces would have to be submitted in episodes.

This is your last chance to submit video for Objective A1. We are closing Objective A1 on Monday June 22nd.
Objective Description: We want video footage of people wearing dust masks to protect themselves against the Super Flu.
Objective Timeline: The Super Flu pandemic begins in February of 2007 as common, seasonal influenza. By March the number of cases reported has quadrupled and the Flu strain is dubbed “The Super Flu” by the media. The Super Flu proves resilient against influenza vaccines. On April 1st 2007 the World Health Organization announces that the Super Flu meets the three criteria of a Pandemic. In the streets people begin wearing white dust masks.

badhammer films is looking to do some test stills of some effects, and we should have them on soon... if anyone wants to piece them together into a video of stills... i don't know it depends on what cameras we go into this with. a lot of factors come into play.

New here, as I stated in the Grid Solvers, I'm finding this place extremely awesome. I love the idea of contributing and I have my own little gear and experience when it comes to some of these things. I have my own video camera which can take candid vids, but I also know how to edit audio and have a pretty nice collection of audio sound effects. I used to do fan radio shows awhile back so I still have my materials. I can do some voice over work as well. If you need a boy for audio just send me a script and I'll do some voice work :) I can also take pictures and do make up special effects/costuming. I guess I'm a jack of all trades in a way.
I look forward to contributing! I'm at work, but when I can I'll see how I can put up some clips or a reel.

I recently found out that all footage made on behalf/by the US government (eg military or police vids) is royalty free and you can use freely. That type of footage will be most useful in the LZ Vault group, but yep great idea!

Ok so theres a real bad outbreak of the swine flu in mexico. Lots of people are holding up in their homes and wearin dust masks when they do leave if someone could manage to get ahold of footage of that it would be perfect for the site. It give a super realistic effect. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
