i like the sound of that . it could happen that when the plane takes off from wherever there is no outbreak and while the plane is in the air enroute the outbreak starts with the planes destination being the epicentre of the outbreak ..

i think u should do it that a passenger sneaks a zombie family member on the plane and the zombie starts infecting people making it that the plane needs to land immediately and have it land in a small zombie infested town and as they get off the plane they notice that zombies r slowly moving in on them and it doesnt look good so they fight off the horde and just as it doesnt look good (after a few people have died and reanimated) a few groups of survivors come to investigate the crash or landing and see the passengers in peril and begin to start attacking the zombies to help save the passengers and the rest u can make up if u want

Yeah, I've been thinking about putting an infected person on the plane, but I wasn't sure how to do it. I was thinking somebody sneaks on with a bite on his hand or foot, somewhere were it would take a while to develop signs that he is infected and have him turn sometime during the flight shortly before the emergency landing. And awhile after being stuck on the plane the passengers find out about the infected passenger on board and they try and kill it, but the family member defends him and the enraged passengers kill the family member and the infected man. And shortly after that they begin turning on each other out of paranoia

Did this ever get off the ground?

i ask only because if you need footage of an aeroplane that looks like it's coming down or still photos.. i might be able to help... Our airport is one of the smallest in the world and is situated in such a way that to get to the airport we have to drive across the runway... Unbeleiveable i know but look it up if you don't beleive me... Gibraltar airport.. lol... anyway its one of the hardest to land at and to land from a westerly position it has to make a shap turn and decsend at the same time... so if you're still interested but got stuck let me know ... i'm more than happy to help out..

the footage sounds great! even just having it submitted on its own would be excellent as it could be used for lots of other projects, even uploading it to the LZ Vault would be sweet!
