This can be a specific area near where you live, or just general building, such as "Department Store". Give reasons too.

My personal opinion is, if at all possible, get the hell outta' dodge. The farther from urban centers, the farther from all your newly reanimated neighbors. Rural areas have great survivability, not nearly as likely to get "cleansed", and, best of all, lots of NRA nuts.

If stuck in the urban area, try and find a building that is easily closed off with a large roof. Allows for farming and more living area, as well as chopper evac (if the military is feeling nice today).

We've hashed this one out in other posts.

I would stay in my crib.

Front of house

Back of house

Yeah, I'd have to board up the windows and first floor doors but it would hold up for a bit.
id go to a farm house in a rural area because it propaly wont have glass doors . also it will likely have a large open area around it so you could see the zombies from a distance and have a clear line of sight to shoot them not many pesky trees.
My opinion would be to stay in my own house. Although I live in a populated area, I do also live in a culdesac/dead end. This makes a great advantage because there is a fence at the end of the block which makes the only place to watch for zombies would be at the other side of the block.
