So far everyone has been very nice here. Well, the 3 who have talked to me...hahaa! I want to find out more about the documentary you guys are working on. My husband and I shoot, and edit our own films and we also animate. Would love to be able to become involved with the documentary.

Just curious, but can we still submit things for the movie?

Hi! Just joined.

The Grave Bandits is a coming-of-age, adventure/horror/dark comedy about two Filipino orphans who are grave thieves became the heroes of an island where a dormant alien virus has been unleashed in an island in the Philippines and the only hope of survivors are in the hands of these two. They are trapped on an island and left nothing to defend themselves and had nothing but to use their wit to win the battle against the swarm of flesh-eating ghouls.

As an inspiration to the creation of our characters, Romy and Peewee, there is about 1.9 million Filpino children who are orphans. No wonder we find some of them in grave yards, living off from the dead!

Feb 15th, 2011:

Nothing has gone according to plan

I had spent the better part of 2009 setting up defenses around the ConEdison power plant in Astoria Queens, New York City. I had gathered a number of able bodied survivors and had established a fortified route to a few of the long term food sources along the 21st street highway. We had established some semblance of peace and community, even had a little bit of "Law" with Joshua helping out. It was when that April girl arrived that things started going awry. At first she was very helpful. She worked with Josh to build the perimeter and set up our small farm in the old parking lot. The thing I didn't really understand was, while the rest of us were terrified of the walking dead, she seemed to revere them. Every time one would start gnawing at the fence while she was on duty, she would just sit and watch them until someone, usually me or Josh, would come to do the dirty work.

I should have known something was wrong. On a dark night in August, she opened the gate. I woke to screams. She was surrounded by ghouls being eaten alive and screaming in what was unmistakably ecstasy.  That night, almost everyone at Edison died or was turned. I ran for it once the fight proved impossible. I warned the remaining survivors and popped the safety valve open on the waste tubes. The whole station and about 30 city blocks blew to hell and took all those damned dead with it. I have since been wandering with 23 followers... no. Family. We have found a few places that would serve as a suitable stronghold, but all of us agree, we must find a new Edison. We have wandered to a little old town that used to be called "Glen Rock." I think we're still in New Jersey... damn. Right now we are holed up in a Starbucks. This place looks like a little castle, so it made a few of the kids feel safe. Luckily for us, there were tons of old cookies and snacks that seem like they'll never go bad, and we've been rigging up our generators for a few minutes at a time and making coffee.. I forgot how god damned good coffee is, even if the beans are a little stale. The really crazy thing is that we didn't just find coffee and snacks there, we found a new member for our family. She had fled here during the outbreak, not really knowing where else to go. I guess she used to work here during happier days. She was lonely and tired, but still in good shape. Mostly, she seemed just happy to see people with all their skin on. I couldn't help but think she looked beautiful. My world had become nothing but blood, dirt and dead faces. Every one of us has become something of a "badass" in this last year, even the kids with us have become incredibly skilled at taking out the deads' legs so they will be easier for us to crush. The new girl though, she was soft and un-tainted. I will have to be sure to keep an eye on her, I know some of the family was just as happy to see a clean beautiful girl as I was...

Well, Daylight in here and we have been thinking of moving on. I hope to find more time to write like this, it's been too long.

I have given it a lot of thought about command and control. Team leaders and head honchos. Recently i received a very cool comment from a friend of mine. Tell me what you think?

"I can't imagine there would be any designated leader. Everyone in the group is smart enough to listen to the guy that knows what he's talking about."

That's the kind of team I want!

Dear Journal; March 8th, 2010

Today marked the anniversary of the first day of infection from the Campion Virus. The date, currently, is March 8th, 2010. I'm over a campfire in a small highschool.. The reason I'm using a fire, is because three fourth's of the school's been blown to bits by an artillery raid. For the record, there's no more military to save us now. Screams, gunshots, and the incessant moans of the infected are clearly in the air... As I'm stacked here, with around 17 associates of mine. Our ammo count is plentiful, as we're all using .45 caliber pistols, and .22 caliber assorted weaponry. We've been picking up automatic rifles, and sub-machine guns, from SWAT and Military corpses.. But the automatic fire proved to be faulty, in noise, and in ammo quantity. If surrounded by a horde, like the gigantic hellstorm back in September; I think in Massachusettes, we picked up numerous assault weapons, and tossed them away once done in the magazine. Temporary weapons are good, at least for us, because it doesn't make us carry the extra pounds.

Surprisingly, living in a post-apocalyptic zombie world isn't half bad. You tend to have better friendships with survivors, due to the connection of morbid loss from the past world... Humans can finally set aside religious and political differences to survive towards a brighter future. Enough of that hippie bullshit. I'm typin my journal from a temporary laptop; due to no electricity I keep a USB connector saving my journal entries, and past experiences in this apocalypse. This laptop, I've been keeping for about a week now. It's a major battery saver, and I'm glad this's been keeping me from going out on Circuit City raids.. I know I swept out the mall, clean of laptops. For entertainment purposes, I've got my trusty old Violin strapped to my back, a bow in my bookbag, and of course, a non-important sniper.. R700, or M24. Killing the infected is pretty fun, I presume. They're slow.. Dumb.. And plus it's decreasing their entire god forsaken population, by every, single, shot. We've come across a few, minor outposts.. One, back in July, in a Stop'nShop.. They barricaded it all, had 3 snipers on the rooftop, and a few sentry guards patrolling the parking lot. We resupplied there, and denied the offer to stay. A stop'n shop isn't our ideal home.

I guess our ideal home is someplace secure.. A Stop'nShop in the middle of a town isn't exactly the best place to survive from Behemoth sized infected, and sprinting zeds. Which is why my squad, as I call us, and I are heading north.. Carried on light rumours of a massive outpost, in a highschool much like the one we're bunkered down in at the moment. I think they called it Eden. Seemed secure, with people's own homes, and marketplace. Sounds civilized and warm.. Hopefully it's got a fuckin' roof. I'm tired of getting rain on my hair. My hood is obsolete, because a sprinting bastard tore it off in an attempt to nab my head off.. Least I've still got my damn sweatshirt. I'm offline for the night. It's 6 pm, time to check the radio for other survivors.

Alright. Surviving's been going pretty well... Except for the fact we're slowly running out of food. A dire needed raid is being planned by the head of the group as I type.. Hopefully we won't encounter any trouble.

Hey! Good news! Thibodaux, Louisiana is safe! Military units and my group, the ZFF have taken out any infected in the region. We have plenty food and supplies to last years. The whole city has power; life has basicaly returned to normal. Its a small city, so its pretty easy to take care of. We have five different armories set up; each holding thousands of weapons. No outbreaks have happened yet. We need more military officials, though.
