Orlando Quarantine

All you need to know is I am a bio engineer for a faceless corporation. One of our prototype viruses leaked out into our lab's underground tunnels located below Orlando and surronding areas. A quarantine has been set but so far has been unsuccessful.

I know I run the risk of being caught posting on this site, but I also feel that someone has to know what happened here. I had heard about this site for some time through a few of the lab assistants who worked for the head of our department and how some people were posting about outbreaks that happened in cities where our companies labs were set up. There are only a few that I know of that are even still in operation, but I didn't think much of it then.
The lab that I work at is located in the southern part of Orlando and its tunnels run and end somewhere outside of Lake County Florida. I believe that there are emergency exits and cells located in Eustis. Which is why its no surprise that is where the initial outbreaks occurred. It happened slowly, the infection spread through rodents or insects I would suppose and then that eventually reached the wildlife and so forth. In Eustis there was a bizarre incident in which a pet dog killed a young boy and the rescue attempt ended up losing two more people and the dog still wasn't caught. The newspapers printed about how it was shot a surplus of 20 times, but they never really connected the dots. It was said to be just another bizarre, tragic incident of domesticated animals gone bad. The local toxicologist contacted us and our team eventually took samples of the boys bites and the results came back positive. A serum was administered but like the virus, it was only in its test phase.
Then people started to go missing and stories of strange attacks began.
Eventually it broke out in the morgues and there were silent whispers through out the town, but of course people didn't believe it. And now its spreading into Orlando at an expedient rate, we targeted the first case to have been observed in ORMC (Orlando Medical Clinic). It was initially diagnosed as rabies.
The virus was somehow released somewhere in the later sections of the underground tunnels and thus the lab has been sealed off and a containment team has been sent in to the small city of Eustis and quarantine
measures have since begun in Orlando.
I don’t have a set number yet for casualties but I’m assuming it’s a somewhat large number. I’ll try and keep you updated but I fear that this is all bring tracked by our security division and I could be terminated. I will try and get pictures of the initial stages of infection.

Comment by Jeremy on May 4, 2009 at 11:22am - Orlando is a death trap. Airport is a no go. I heard of possible shelter in the Hospital, but generally thats the worst place to be during an infection like this.

- This is the Orlando H.S.C. (Home Security Center) please report officer#12. i was standing before a dead officer his head was half gone.His radio i thought IT might work! (besides i was out of food anyway) I replied:Hello. No one replied..only static......well i go to the hospital and see if i can find mom..........

- my mom and brother were taken to the orlando hospital and i was trapped in my house.. after i got my brothers shotgun down from the wall i went outside..... then i saw my friend jerry....... (he was bleeding though)I approached him slowly.. he didnt answer me the firsy time i ran away but he ran toward me and tackled me onto the ground i meeled him in the head. Then he was silent for a moment before i blew his head off............ Then i looked up and wondered were is my bro and ma..... then i remembered my ma's phone then i tried to call the hospital.......... nothing...........so i got my backpack and lots of food and left. leaving my house behind me.........i was very sad.........but i had to keep moving............maybe my mom was fine maybe not...........and into the sunset i went.............

We have survived the initial panic and illness that seems to have taken over many here. Can anyone hear me? I will be broadcasting once a day at this time, and I will be recording to listen for any messages. - Can the two of you meet up and move north or west towards brooksville? I have a small group that is growing larger by the day and we have a few guardsman and helo. The will fly about 150 miles from our spot. If the two of you can meet up say at Disney I may convince them to try and pick you two up. Is this possible. Also be on the lookout for National Guard vehicles with NO flags these are guardsmen that have gone rogue and are looting throughout central florida. I need to know ASAP.

I took the clothes from the deceased guard, along with his weapon, a glock 19... my M4 was out, and 9mm is better then nothing. There was a lot of activity down in these corridors.
eventually I found veggitation again, and a bunker that led to this base... where I was statoned before the outbreak.

i agree with most of what you said and id like to see bolt action rifles added cause unless your extremly practiced with it but the ak and the m16 id like taken off this list if you were not in the army or military i would suggest getting on googl...
