Realy i would like someone to exsplain to me what a zed is
like what is the diference between a "zed" and a "zombie"
no zed is a shorter name for a zombie
A "zed" is just a british term for a zombie. for example:"Ah crap, one of those stupid zeds just took my foot off!" or "Dude, there are way too many zeds out there, we'll never make it."
As for whether or not the undead would evolve: I think that undead evolution is very unlikely. A zombie is just dead tissue which is only moving because the undead brain is controled by the virus. All of the changes that happen to make a corpse a zombie take place during the reanimation process and don't change. On top of that, because a zombie is dead flesh, it eventually rots away. that means that even if the virus mutated while in its flesh-eating host, all that mutation would be for nothing once they lost their ability to hunt and spread the plague... Or until some dude with a shotgun blows their 'ead off like a baseball.
