What would you do in a class 4 outbreak? (complete infection)

sounds like a plan but food clothing and water are certainly something that would be hard to transport long distances i mean you gotta have enough to atleast last you 5 years or more

asuming im still alive, I'll still run small town to small town, mostly around south Georgia. i can clear out the towns easily because the population around there is 10,000 or less, but most would probly have left to be with family or even to bigger cities looking for protection.Theres still areas that have a decent supply of food. and with the population dwindling i could hunt the deer that would flourish do to the fact that their not being hunted

Since I live near a military base, I plan on traveling there at the first sings of any outbreak.

a millitary base will keep you safe for so long. class 4 it will be harder to move around unnoticed. however hunting animales in the country isnt a bad idea assuming that they cant be infected. so you might be stuck with fish assuming thats safe to. also keep in mind that you might be a little safer in the country but are you gonna wonna waste ammo on animales maybe hunt with a bow it will be quiter and wont give away your location

Total ruin, sounds fun. Though seriously, the first step would be to gather supplies, cars, guns, fuel, food, water, etc. Second would be to round up survivors, probably into a nomadic caravan of sorts. Once enough man power and supplies are acquired, then the rebuilding process can start, probably in a nice open rural environment, easy to pick up on danger, easy to fortify. Then things could go various ways, depending on the populace, though as long as I've got weapons, water, food, and shelter, I'm good.

About the military base plan, you and about 3/4 of the world would be going for a military base aswell, I'd put distance between people, crowded places are just buffets for zeds.

i would just live on top or a house make sure its barricades on the inside then live it out sleeping it out on the roof while i have cameras inside the house in side plexyglass to check if its ok for me to go back down in the morning that or find a two or more story house and completly destroy the stairs to the first to second floor and same plan

If you did it right, you would never have to return to the mainland. You could grow all the food you needed.

I took the clothes from the deceased guard, along with his weapon, a glock 19... my M4 was out, and 9mm is better then nothing. There was a lot of activity down in these corridors.
eventually I found veggitation again, and a bunker that led to this base... where I was statoned before the outbreak.
I walked for days with my buddy, Leo. He took this pic about 3 hours before he was dragged into an empty building and bitten. I killed all four zombies, but it was too late... he began to change and I had to put him down too.
