hey idea! most bites are on hands arms legs and face, right? so armor up there. if u come to hand 2 hand with a zed let em bite ur armored hand, no harm. and a freind, u know how hard a steel plate body is? realy hard, i doubt human teeth can get through that.
I wouldn't really know if this would be good or not because I've never felt one, but maybe a scuba suit? Surely if it can protect against minor shark bites [Keeping in mind sharks teeth cut through us like butter] it can protect you against human teeth.
It's not blade proof, and thats what I'm judging by.
And if the virus/plague spreads by saliva, then you might be ok with a scuba suit...however, do you really want to be trying to run while wearing something that causes gigantic blisters? And is insulated?
I think you would probably die of heat exhaustion.
So you are planning on making a wet-suit into arm and leg armor?

Believe it or not, zombies DO have human strength. But it seems better than ours because we know when to stop before hurting our selves. Zombies don't know how to do that, so they keep trying until they succeed. Basically, what you need is something that isnt heavy, is breathable, and can stop a zed long enough to let you kill it. Because trust me, they WILL NOT recoil or stop trying to rest. So you can't just keep them off so you can run. You need to kill or cripple the one that is trying to bite you, then run before more show up.
on shark week they have this chainmail suit that protects people from bites from tiger sharks and people dont bite harder or sharper then that, much less a zombie. and you can order them online or maybe find some in a scuba store. Kevlar could work if its made properly. you can get directions to make it online, or get someone to make it for you. Kevlar is a light wieght, bulletproof, and can stand up to knife cuts as long as ur not getting stabbed so bites should be fine. you can also wear big clothes or jackets. heavy military jackets work fine. you can find them at military surplus stores. i found mine at an urban clothing store and its big and warm. good for the winter if ur stuck out in it or decide to head north to canada until the outbreak dies down. all you need to protect mostly is limbs and neck. if you can find a riot suit like the guy in 28 days later that would be find but beware of limited vison and mobility.
