for flexibilty use an armadillo style for your chest/back plates, for the crotch a sports-cup type design and for your neck look at bite collers for ideas
zombies can bite through lether if they can live long enuf(sry im a bad speller)for the jaw mussils to get stronger so you would want some sort of metel
You are all guessing good, but mostly wrong.
It depends on the type of armor, durability, comfort, and situation.
Some armors you may think are "impenetratable", are far from it.
Imagine. A suit of knight's armor may stop a single zombie bite, but what about two?
Three?
Four?
Five?
A group of zombie's will tear the armor off, and have a buffet.
If it's the infamous "Combat Ready" armor, that's mainly meant for display, it's the worst armor. It's noisy, bulky, uncomfortable, inconvinient, dehydrating, and it will cause delays in walking.
When wearing a suit of armor, you are literally, canned food.
But the best armor of all, is improvisation. Sense. Intelligence.
Yes of course. But plate works in case you lose your sense for a few minutes.
Full plate is completely and totally stupid unless you have it riveted together, and then you can't take it off. Which means the armor kills you before the zombies do.
i wasn't thinking about walking into a whole swarm just firing away.i was more looking to stop the one popping up out of a closet or some thing like that. i don't have a death wish
