Here's a few Ideas I've had:

1. Book of Voicemails. So we have a ton of voicemail messages that are really interesting. They might translate well if I simply typed them out. It would certainly lend it's self to a mobile app where users could listen to voicemails.

2. Letters from Teresa. A book of letters from people living in the quarantine camp.

3. Book of text messages. I could set up a service where users can text in their notes then I could compile them into a book.

I've got a bunch more, but those are the ones I've been thinking most seriously about.

I love all 3 what can I do to help? Thanks for responding to the thread Skot!

What are some other ones? What about another follow up book? Most series don't get rolling till about book 3 right?

Another was a photo like book. Think Instragram pics from the zombie apocalypse.

Im down to contribute some photos for that. Hell I think I'll get to work on some of that within the next few days.

What about journals from St. Teresa? Diaries that were found and the like.

Another idea would be something like a kiosk, where people leave notes telling of safe houses, lost loved ones, etc.

Just some thoughts.

I love the notes, the trick is differentiating from the first book. We need to come up with a specific context that twists it.

Oh, also, maybe taking people's various contributions and weaving them into one narrative at a time. For example, get input on a particular scenario (let's follow Johnny's story) and then the next book could be someone else's story. The stories could be told in the same style - through notes, journals, texts, etc. - they would just revolve around a certain set of characters for each book.

Yeah, I like this. What I have found though is that the short bits of writing from loads of voice is most powerful.

I agree. If we could figure out a way to combine the two...

you can look in the EOD page, bound to find some stories to use for chapters and such......

You can find plenty of stories right here in the writers bloc. I would suggest useing or at least reading thru the contest winners. and asking their permissions. -Omega
