Lost Zombies

Does anyone else have this book. It has tons of great information about everything you need to know to surviving a zombie outbreak. I've read it a few times now. I just wanted to see if anyone else has read it too and their thoughts about it..

The debate over which form of zombies is acceptable varies. The best explanation I've seen is that the human body is still a vehicle just driven by a different operator. Humans have coordination and higher level thinking skills. Zombies are mindless and lack dexterity and coordination. A zombie would not be able to run faster than the human host and would only be able to function at the maximum ability of the current state the body is in. Beign shot in the leg might disable the calf muscle or a tendon causing the zombie to fall over or limp. Thank god they can't regenerate or we would all be in trouble. The constant state of deterioration of cells and tissues means that the longer the zombie is around the less able it will be.

yes, i love that book. when i get the money and move out i might just by all the stuff on the list there lol. and to the guy who commented before me, you don't deviate from the typical zombies is because they're cooler and it's what we would actually deal with. plus it's more realistic.

well that could be dabatable. see if they just died they would have to relearn how to walk they would be like a new child.

First let me say something about “runners”. They are a new invention that was thought up for the remake of “Dawn of the Dead”. It’s not that the book establishes them “shamblers” as the norm, but every movie and book that came before that establishes them as the norm. It is not only rigor that affects the movement but also the deterioration of the nerves and brain. Zombies are almost (for lack of a better term) learning to walk again with every step. Zombies are dumb; they can’t work a door knob or use a ladder. They can only barley manage stairs. Running takes not only muscles but coordination as well which zombies don’t have.

Now as for the book, I have had to buy three copies so far. I have lent out my copy so many times that it has been worn out, dog eared and destroyed and given away. This is my stand by book at the shelter for the late nights I have to pull every now and then.

I'm justwondering, are there any other zombie books out there? like besides novelizations of resident evil. I want to know if there's a whole novel with zombies in it and it has a good story.
