Lost Zombies

Does anyone else have this book. It has tons of great information about everything you need to know to surviving a zombie outbreak. I've read it a few times now. I just wanted to see if anyone else has read it too and their thoughts about it..

Yes, I would try "Day by Day Armageddon by J.L. Bourne. It is an on going journal depicting one man's struggle for survival. And in the comic book area I would look to "The Walking Dead" by Kirkman. This is an award winning graphic novel series. You might also look at “Twilight of the Dead” by Travis Adkins. It would be an all right read.

I understand why people say zombies can't run and it makes sense looking at riger and all the other facts. My opinion is that if the dead are running around eating people then anything is possible. I also agree the zombie survival guide is great but if people only look to the book as the only truth out there then they are no better than the bureaucrats that will fail us in the end due to thier own inflexability.

This is a good book. But, as the books said. The brain becomes a whole different organism. It "new brain" is trying to do whatever it needs to do to survive.

Although, it can't. There's no point for zombies to eat. They can't regenerate. Its more like an instinct.

Either way, if "runners" are possible. Then f**k make sure you've worked out and are ready for them...

its a great book they just put out flash cards based on the book , some 3 by 5 note books with a few diffrent pictures and a blank diary for tracking outbreaks, when I teach my firarms course I ask my students what is your zombie plan, after they stop laughing I exsplain a zombie paln is simply asking your self how will I react in any given situation , like a guy with a gun at the store a drunk with a kinfe on your front lawn , the living dead eating your the guy next door in the back alley.

I've read this one as well as World War Z about a dozen times, I even got to meet Max Brooks in person this summer at Wizard World in Chicago. He has a graphic novel coming out based on the recorded outbreaks that are in the back of the book, it looks pretty sweet!

Nobody really knows what a terrible outbreak is going to be like. People hate runners. whos to say there aren't going to be runners. If you read world war z, remember that line that states, how can you deny something thats not suppose to exist. I loved The zombie guide, but untill the outbreak, I use it as collapse of society guide. You want to know whats the closest I got to that. the katrina incident. I am glad I caught the aftermath from a distance. I would have hate to be in that situation. But still I do have a great zombie story for that.

If nothing else the zombie survival guide is a way for everyone to create from the same source , kind of like a series bible for writers it would really clean up the entire site if we stuck to it .
