My first pick is:

Re-Animator (1985) A medical student and his girlfriend become involved in a bizarre experiment into reanimating the dead conducted by the student's incorrigible housemate(Jeffery Combs) in this campy send up of an H.P. Lovecraft story. The emphasis is on humor but once the dead walk, there is gore aplenty.

Joker's rating 5/5

This is by far my favorite horror movie of all time. Any movie that's based on an H.P. Lovecraft story is a must see. It's the first of three movies in this Horror Trilogy the other two are Bride of Re-Animator and Beyond Re-Animator. It's a cult classic!

My all time favorite is the Night of the Living Dead remake. It actually showed how fucked up people could get in a zombie outbreak. My others would be 28 Days Later, ALIENS, and The Hills have Eyes.

My next pick is:

DEAD-ALIVE(1992)
aka Braindead
Directed by Peter Jackson
Wellington, New Zealand, 1957. After being bitten by a Sumatran rat monkey, Lionel Cosgrove’s mother is transformed into a flesh-eating zombie. But Lionel doesn’t want to bury his dear mother and sneaks her back home. Lionel’s greedy uncle Les gets wind of what is happening and tries to blackmail Lionel. But Lionel’s attempts to protect his mother inadvertently end up creating an entire army of zombies that overrun the house during a party thrown by Uncle Les.

Joker's rating 5/5

This is another one of my all time favorite horror movies. This is Peter Jackson's third film in his history of movie making and IMO one of his best. It has everything you could want in a horror movie lots of blood and guts!! This is a must see if your a fan of Peter Jackson's work and I recommend it to everyone.

The Return of the Living Dead is a zombie horror film that was released in 1985 and was followed by several sequels. The film was written and directed by Dan O'Bannon and starred Clu Gulager, James Karen, Don Calfa, Linnea Quigley, Thom Mathews, and Beverly Randolph. The film tells the story of how a group of teenage punks accidentally release a horde of blood thirsty zombies onto an unsuspecting town.

The zombies where very well made, especially tar-man,the production values where average: you can see the yellow mans robotic neck.Thethe movie was not as good as its predesessor. 3/5
