I was due to meet a friend at Heathrow, she was on a flight from Madrid. That was right before they closed the airport. That's when things started to get really bad, the infection swept through the terminal. Somehow I managed to get out and get hold of a car. It took me days to get back home, they started to close the major roads and lock the city down. I had to travel out of the city to the west and back in to my home town from south. A lot of my neighbours had either fled or were dead, my house was deserted. The mobile networks went down so quickly, I can't believe how fast things fell apart. I'm holed up with eleven others at a local primary school, it's surrounded by a high wire fence on all sides, we've held up pretty well here so far. It has it's own generator which is why I have been able to get online. It's difficult to get reliable information on what is going on out there, can anyone help?

we tryed heading for the big tescos in slough, it was brutal.... that was back when there was seven of us...

I think I might make a break for it in my car. I can use my wifi and contact you from my laptop. I don't think virgin are going to worry about footing me the bill right now.

If you do run for a larger town don't go to London it's completely sealed anyone going in or out will be shot

I'm in Essex not far from London. I'm thinking of making a run for it towards a bigger city, there just seems to be dead here. Only seen one survivor so far and he was chased off by a pack of 4 undead. My cars got about quarter tank of diesel, I would need to refuel before coming, I might get like to the outskirts of london. Whats the situation like up there?
