After fleeing our house when the zombies got in, we drove into town looking for a safe place. We decided to try Walmart since it has everything we could possibly need. We made it to the parking lot okay, but getting inside the building was hard.

We had to dodge several attacks and one of our friends didnt make it. They had to drag me away from the sight of him. That was the hardest thing I've had to do. I can still hear his screams.... We managed to get inside but the zombies were getting in through the motion activated doors and creating even more inside. We finally were able to get the doors locked, and the buggy area closed off. Right now we're barracaded in a back office. There are others in the store, but I'm too exhausted and freaked to do anything about them right now. We're gonna rest here a while, then see what more needs to be done.

Ok. So, I woke up from a nightmare after sleeping for a couple of hours. Everyone else was awake and waiting on me. My first thought was 'damn i need a cigarette'. So we had to form a plan for making sure everything was closed up, the infected were gotten rid of, and then we could go from there. I was heading for the tobacco aisle. I ran into this on the way.

...lost access to a computer for a few days. We've been busy weeding out the infected, but pretty sure they are all out of the store now. Walmart is a pretty big place, and we dont have that many survivors in here, but for some it is already beginning to seem cramped.

You might want see if your insurance is paid up. Got two types of zombies here in Arkansas. The ones who were turned by the plague and these really ugly ones that look like they been inbreeding with their cousins one too many times.

i went down I-27 and headed towards wayside....out in the middle of nowhere and right on the edge of the Palo Duro Canyon, there's enough snakes, deer, boars, cattle, and maybe some horses to stay alive when the food in the dinning hall and abandoned ranch owners house runs out, if need be i can get into areas in the canyon that would make it impossible for a zombie to find or get to me. If anyone is in the Panhandle i can help out....horses would be the best transportation right now or the 4 wheeler that's at the owners house.

Just left Austin. I-35 is a dead land. The Governor is infected too. Hit him with my van. Most of Central Texas is lost to the infected. Food and water is running low. Can anyone direct me to a safe place for the night we are heading for the El Paso.

Watch out for the power cut, use the perishable food items first, and if you know how: make jerky out of the meat. GL.
