Un-Wordly Scientist

We are dedicated to studing the dead,if you have any infected bodies we could look at that would be great(im not kidding, submit your pics),please note there is no cure,a zombie is a corpse,it has no soul, even if you could heal it,it would have no emotions,no memory,no brain, but you can make a zombie(this is real info from wikipedia)......

investigations, claimed that a living person can be turned into a zombie by two special powders being entered into the blood stream (usually via a wound). The first, coup de poudre (French: 'powder strike'), induced a 'death-like' state because of tetrodotoxin (TTX), its key ingredient. Tetrodotoxin is the same lethal toxin found in the Japanese delicacy fugu, or pufferfish. At near-lethal doses (LD50= 5-8µg/kg)[5], it can leave a person in a state of near-death for several days. The second powder, composed of dissociatives like datura, put the person in a zombie-like state where they seem to have no will of their own

cool right, post that into your signature

It's just me, and four others left here @ the Cornpalace. We tried a couple of raids on nearby stores for supplies but the rotters just wittled us down.

The others managed to get a fuel tanker truck from the local Ethonol plant...it's full but that limits us to using E-85 vehicles...I told them that will limit us if we need to change transport but they've made up their minds. They say they're going to raid the Local Walmart for more supplies, but we lost good people doing that in the past and the Z's seem drawn to big locations like that so I think their chances are nut much better.

I have'nt told them yet that I'm staying, I don't know what they will say but I hid supplies and ammo here in the Cornpalce just in case they try to make off with everything.

I wish them luck but know they don't have much chance without a plan...I mean, C'mon...Getting in a Yukkon loaded with Canned soup and Salsa with a fuel truck trailing behind is one thing...but driving towards Minneapolis sounds like a bad plan to me.

I'll drop a note after they decide to leave...If I can... Delete Comment

Back in the 40's and 50's Dentist used whats called "Twilight" to put patients into a coma, semi-lucid state. It was an injection of solution into the eye just above the tear ducts. It worked but many times patients never recovered, they remained in a limited capasity where they could move, mumble but seemed disconected from the present. It ressembled a labotomy without the obvious surgical scaring.
