Yeah, can't really top Beth, but I do work for my town's newspaper, my school's, and I'm in creative writing. Pretty close to finishing a novel. I've only done one script, but I really know a lot about how to act during an outbreak (really, really not trying to sound like a arrogant jackass here), I've pretty much memorized The Zombie Survival Guide, and I've read WWZ many times. So basically, I could just kind of check to make sure the script is believable as to how the characters act, and that sort of thing. If you need any help, I'm willing.

Well, i'm just a thirty year old dude who likes to scribble in notebooks. So no real 'credentials'. But after I found this site (ESPN commercial, I think), I was inspired to try the confession assignment. So, I sat sat my ass down and came up with my first little skit,
Well anyway, that was in one take and I've never, ever told anyone I had any acting skill, lol. The written skit was actually much cooler (at least in my head) and made slightly more sense. This is something that I would truly like to be part of, so as soon as I get a couple of free minutes i will type up a copy of 'RezDogz Last Stand01' skit and post it on the written proofs page. Also, I can't type for shit but am a madman with some whiskey and a pen.
Damn this is fun!!! SID
uh,.......ps.. dont know if the hyperlink work or not!
I am a current film student, albeit at a community college, but my scriptwriting teacher was amazing. I want to do the independent thing, so I plan on wearing a lot of the filmmaking hats, but my most experienced field would absolutely be writing. I wrote my first "script" when I was around seven years old, ironically enough, it was for Freddy vs Jason: A Battle in Hell. It was atrocious, but it had a clear beginning, middle, and end. I can proudly say that my skills have increased quite a bit since that time, and I would love to no end to work together with fellow zombiephiliacs. Don't know what this means to you, but I got a A in my scriptwriting course, so I can at least verify my ability to format. I have a twisted sense of humor, and sometimes I feel like a bad person for the things I think about doing to characters. I don't have a good idea for this site yet, but I do have a couple short ideas which I am going to start production on within the next two weeks. However, that said, if anyone has a small idea that they need help extrapolating, I am pretty good at logical progression. You give me a beginning, and I'll have a middle and an end for you by the end of the day at the latest. If necessary, I will take a blood oath to be involved in this documentary, as this website is by far the most ambitious and genius site I have ever found myself visiting daily.
3 motion picture scripts [unfortunately none made to film or purchased for as-writes] published in Business Opportunities magazine and had fairly good success with ad-hoc writing for three other screenwriters...
I use MS Word & Screenwriter scripting software.
Currently writing a book concerning our zombie menace as a type of educational spoof in a slightly more zany take of Max Brooks- I might have a business venture for you here to help build both film, book & merchandise/memorabilia sales... Just let me know.

Well shit its beginning to look like I may be way outclassed here. Especially if an ability to format and know that stories have a beginning, middle, and end is of special value. I'm sorry, dont mean to sound like an asshole, but i think that for the purposes of this site and our goal here creativity, thoughtfulness, originality, and sincerity should really be more of a preresiquite than classical training for the proper format of a script etc., etc. Am I wrong?
Well put Beth. But that said, Sid, you are right, the point of this site is "homemade" video. The thing is though, you can take a lot of footage and make a film, or, you can think it out and lay a clear plan. Plans generally work better than not plans.

Nothing wrong with creativity that has no "professional" background- truth be told, film works aren't necessarily as professionally made as you might think they are- just because someone like me makes an appearance doesn't mean we're vying for anyone else's chance to do some really exceptional work.
Truth be told- I'd rather work on a short with an entirely virgin crew for something like this rather than the latest Romero or Godzilla "mock-umentaries".
If my talents are of use- so much the better. But understand that I'm personally not here to cramp anyone's style or creativity. I only want to help.
Feeling threatened by someone like me would be the equivalent of being scared of a spoon & fork. I'm more of a tool box than a competitor.
As I see it, since you're here and you want to contribute- you've got vastly more class to hang with this bunch than the usual rabble of keyboard commandos. Worry less about the pros and concentrate more on what you want to contribute- anything and everything you offer will be listened to with great interest in a place like this! I certainly want to see what happens here!
Peace & Brotherhood, to one and all Beth, Sid & DB!

cleric - yeah thanks for the advice man - didnt mean to come off sounding like a dick in that last post - had a shitty day at work - anyway, i agree with what you said and will take it upon myself to learn something from that... i dug out an old screen writers bible from the bottom of my closet and am flippin through it. Honestly it would be an honor to work with you and anybody who TRULY gives a fuck about this project. I only hope that my submissions are at least on par with what i am trying to convey and with what you and the others on this board are trying for. Respectfully....L8R..SID
I would also like to put my name into the hat for consideration. I have written many short stories (none published unfortuately), as well as two self published miniature game rule books. I am also a good source for brainstorming, character development, plot hooks and implementations. I also thrive well in a collaborative environment and love to have my work critiqued for later improvement.
I am thirty years old, and I have been doing creative writing most of my life....I have written about 10 poems that have been published, and I wrote a one act play that was performed for someone's senior project in college. I am currently working on a book...I haven't written any screenplays in years, but I am wiling to hep anyway I can!
